Samsung 680L French Door SRF679SWLS Love this fridge - no issues in over 2 years – I have owned the 680L model for over 2 years now, and have no issues as described on product review. The sparkling water and ice are used constantly without issue. The ice maker… does not seem loud, but then again, maybe I live in a noisy neighbourhood. I love the sparkling water, different compartments in the freezer and the middle drawer. Generally I use this for drinks, but find it of most use when entertaining to keep platters etc flat. A few cosmetic issues, the front panels seem to dent fairly easily, the freezer compartment in particular has a few dents. Also, the inside shelves and walls seem difficult to clean, even when removing the compartments. Could be a user issue, though I have managed to clean fridges with less effort in the past. I would recommend this fridge. |

Baby-Vac Nasal Aspirator Does work, but stresses out my baby! – After a week of a very runny nose (but luckily no further illness!) I decided to order the baby vac, as saline spray and associated aspirator were not getting the job done. This… product definitely works, and is a lot more gentle than it sounds. However, my son (10 months) does not like it at all, and cries and fusses as soon as he sees me get it out. He is generally a pretty relaxed baby. But, like a previous reviewer said, it is over quickly. I would definitely recommend the product, and have to other mum's, but just beware that your baby may not be as calm as the bubs on youtube! Extracts a lot of mucous quickly, far more effective than other hand held aspirators My baby does not like it, which can be stressful for both of us. But I think it is worth it, as it works quickly as is very effective |

Pigeon Mag Mag Step 3 Straw New design too difficult to use – We use our older style straw cup all the time, and wanted a second cup in case we left it somewhere. The older style cup was so easy for my 10.5 month old to use. It was the first… thing that he would drink water out of (at 8 months), and still the one that he will drink the most water out of. The new style cup? I can barely get any water out of it, so no chance for a baby. I am really disappointed in this cup. A choice of colour Really difficult to get water out of. More smaller parts to wash up. |

Philips Avent Digital Steam Sterilizer SCF276/26 Great steriliser, but mine also broke down! – This is a great steriliser - it sterilises in 6 minutes, and remains sterile for 24 hours. I have a number of different bottles, and they all fit into the steriliser - Avent,… Pigeon (including the mag mag cup), Medela and Tommee Tippee. It stopped working after about 2 months. It just wouldn't turn on at all, but it was exchanged no questions asked at the pharmacy we bought it from. I haven't had any problems with the new one. It works quickly and remains sterile for an extended period. It accommodates many types of bottles. Broke down, but was replaced. |

Selected Review Bugaboo Cameleon 3rd Gen Good stroller, but a few big drawbacks – My baby is 6 months old, and I have used my bugaboo at least once a day since my son was 2 months old. I wouldn't get rid of it, but I'm not sure I would buy it if I had my time… over. It was highly recommended to me, with a few parents saying that had gotten rid of mountain buggies to get a bugaboo, which is what sold me. I love that my baby can face me, as I go on quite a long walk daily. I walk my dog with it, and it feels sturdy. I think that the bassinet setting is a waste of money. I moved my son into the stroller at 3 months (bugaboo recommends using the bassinet until 6 months), and the other mothers in my mothers group did the same. I carried him in a baby bjorn a lot before 3 months, so I don't think I got my monies worth out of that setting. I find the two sections to be really annoying. I also have a maclaran, which is so much easier to pack up, but I don't feel that it is as comfortable for my son at this age. I find it easy to through in the car and it takes up a lot less space so, I can see myself using the Maclaran more as he gets older. I have quite a big car (Volvo XC60) and the bugaboo takes up a lot of space in my boot. It needs to be completely dismantled if you are travelling by plane, and you need to buy a luggage carrier ($250). I haven't used the bugaboo bee, but I think that it would have been better for me, as you aren't wasting money on the bassinet, it is folds down in one piece and the bub can still face you. I like that my baby can face me. It is very light. It feels sturdy. I walk my dog with the stroller daily. She is a 13kg and badly behaved, but I never have a problem manoeuvring the stroller and controlling the dog. Very comfortable for baby to sleep in. I have the footmuff, which was a little expensive, but I really like as my son kicks off any type of blanket, but likes the muff. Harder to pack up than other strollers. Takes up a lot of space in the car. Bassinet setting is a waste of money. Isn't practical for plane travel. |
