I would recommend this carseat as you can use it through to 7 years - the legal age to stay in a booster seat!

I purchased the AHR model as it provides extra head support - which comes in handy when the fall asleep in the car and the AHR headrest can be extended above the seat back to increase longevity of use for taller children (I'm a 5'10 Mum with tall kids)

When my eldest reached 18kg I purchased the SnS Protecta Harness so he can keep using his Maxi Rider as a booster seat! It is a bit of a pain to install the Protecta harness - but worth it! With the harness they are held firm against the seat. But if you use the seatbelt alone (with anti-submarine clip) they can reach forwards just like adults do!

I would recommend this as a great purchase when baby #2 is on the way for your eldest, or if you hired a capsule for the first 6-9 months, then buy this seat and it will last!! The Other I used from 3 months to 2.5yrs (still using it now) as I hired a capsule for my second - just to make it easier to carry him downstairs to the car, but I was much happier to put him into the Meridian as it is so much more comfy with the extra padding.

In forward facing mode my toddler is high enough to see me clearly and see out the window. I still have it slightly reclined for car sleeps, and his head rests neatly against the AHR padding and doesn't loll forward!!

I would recommend this seat to my friends having babies, as you can use it until 18kg - in my case that is 4 years old!

It is easy to install once you know how - I've practised putting it into Nanna's car!

Only downside is that you need to remove it from the car to adjust the strap height and headrest height - but you don't need to do that often!

I have used my 2 Meridians for my 2 boys and I'll use them again for bub #3! Safe, comfortable, reclines, great for newborn and for toddlers! Padded for babies, all the accessories, hood, car seat protector, mesh pocket to hold toy or dummy. Sits up high to give baby a great view! I then stack them up in my fridge (inside my crisper drawers).

I can easily see thru the clear containers what I've got - without rummaging through plastic bags of mouldy unrecognisables!

When I'm ready to cook so are my vegies - cos they're already rinses trimmed etc!

My vegies stay fresh for 2 weeks - so I only need to buy fortnightly!

So easy! Saves money, Saves food, Saves time! It really works - it keeps my broccoli from yellowing, stops my greens from going limp! Need to make sure you have the right size to fit large vegies!

claims to last 'up to 30mins' but in really it it is 15mins - 20mins max. Perhaps thats because my floors are so dirty with 2 kids and a dog that sheds hair, and it fills up quickly (thats the only gripe I have)

Its great that it has a proper charger base stand - that holds the Erogorapido upright while it charges - its slim enough to fit beside my fridge, so its ready to go anytime.

I grab it everyday and do quick zap over my timber kitchen floor - its easier and faster than sweeping and a dustpan!

If I'm feeling lazy or if a visitor is popping in, I'll do a quick zap over my lounge carpet - its so easy to push!! (then a weekly clean with my larger Electrolux barrel vacuum cleaner)

Its so flexible, it easily swivels around chair legs and under the coffee table.

Because it uses water efficient technology I can often stop the cycle and add the forgotten dirty clothes!

Its great that it is so adjustable - temp, spin speed, pre-wash, extra rinse, night mode and then all the different cycles to choose!

I love that you can reduce the time of the cycle - especially as I'm used to faster top loaders.

Its got a big enough capacity to wash my sons' single doona, plus sheets and mattress protector all in 1 load (for those wet bed accidents)

But gentle enough to wash pillows, or delicates.

I would reccommend this to my friends and my Mother!!!! Clothes are clean, energy efficient, water efficient, use, less detergent, time adjustable, lots of great options, quiet. wish it spun faster - clothes a still a bit more damp than I would like for drying in winter.
