Very easy to setup and use straightaway. It is a matter of just downloading the app and following the instructions in the app which the main steps are registering your account and detecting your tile by pressing it. The one year warranty only starts when you activate the tile.

There's no maintenance required - doesn't need charging and no battery to change. However it does mean that the tile will need to be replaced when the battery runs out after a year (or more). While there is a renewal program whereby you can get a new one at reduced price, it does mean that there is an ongoing cost, although small if you consider that it's for at least a year. For those who are concerned about the waste created by the old tile, you can return the old tile in the prepaid return envelope so they can recycle it.

productive and interesting things. So we checked out the dishwasher reviews based on our size restrictions (having to fit in the same cavity as the old dishwasher), the machine had to be energy and water efficient, and a budget of under $1000.

First off, this dishwasher measures 600mm wide, 850mm high and 600mm deep. It just fit into the cavity with the door sticking out which was fine for us. It has a 4 star energy rating (230kWh/year) and 5 star water rating (11.5 litres/wash) which is pretty good. While the RRP is above our budget, I've managed to purchase it online at Stax Electrical for $788 with free delivery so that was a real bonus. It comes with a standard warranty of 2 years. We easily installed it ourselves and setup was easy.

It is a 14 place setting dishwasher and we only need to run it once daily and sometimes even manage to fit bulky pieces like pots and pans in it (we are a family of 4).

It is very quiet and on the occasion there's any noise, it would be due to the placement of lightweight dishes or cutlery, that is moving when the water is being sprayed. Everything comes out clean and we only use the budget dishwasher powder and rinse aid. It is very easy to operate and maintain.

The racks are quite adaptable - sometimes you don't have as many plates and the bowls can be placed there instead and it all still cleans well. The cutlery basket with a cover with slots is good to keep the cutlery separate. There are 2 sides and I open the other side for large utensils like tongs and ladles. The top rack has adjustable height which I find useful when having to wash water bottles which are taller.

The 'default' eco cycle works very well although it runs for more than 2 hours. If you are like me, finding that you have forgotten to put the dishwasher on at night, the next morning, the Quick & Dry cycle works just as well in an hour.

There are many other practical features like half load that we use when we only had 1 or 2 meals at home and the delay start which is useful for those with lower off-peak tariff. The SMARTDIAGNOSIS (using your phone to transmit data for troubleshooting issues) would be a good support and troubleshooting feature except we've not had to use it at all so far. The dishwasher has been trouble free and we've been washing daily for a year now and it has freed my time for other things. All in all, very happy with the purchase and the reviews have been helpful in our choice.

have not explored all that it can do yet but I've enjoyed its ability to chop (onions especially!), mince, knead, stir and blend. With it, I have been able to do a few things that I haven't been able to before with just a blender or a food processor. I would have given it 5 stars if the capacity was more than 2L!
