Philips Airfryer XL Digital HD9240/90 Time to look for a cheaper alternative – I use it frequently. 2 year warranty expiring in 2 days. Now it's changing the temperature and timer on its own. $300 for 2 years not good value for money.… |

Australian Plants Online Native plants – Browsing the website for plants to order can be time consuming as you have to trawl through lots of plants that are "coming soon." Delivery can be a while, up to two weeks. I… followed up after a week of placing the order and it was dispatched 3 days after that. Plant sizes are reasonable -- they are tubestock, after all. Although, when I looked at what I got vs the price of some of it, it just didn't seem value for money. You also have to pay postage on top of it. So any advantage over buying at your local garden centre is diminished. Except when you need a particular plant in big quantities, then obviously the savings and convenience is good. If buying only one or two plants I would suggest going to a garden centre where you can see what you are buying. The packaging of plants is really good, by the way. Australia Post-proof, as they call it. |

LG WTG7532WH Great washing machine – Clothes come out clean on cold wash Cotton setting. The clothes are less stretched and tangled compared with my last washing machine. There are no lint filters to clean, yet… there are no lint left on the clothes. I think lint left on clothes is a result of using less water than required. Read how the auto lint clean works in the tech specs on the LG website. If there is not enough water, then lint will remain on the clothes. The only filter to clean as per the manual is the water inlet filter. This is for filtering debris from water going to the machine and has nothing to do with lint from washing. It is the most quiet washing machine I have ever owned. The washing options are simple and can easily be customised. Clothes not as dry as you like after the spin? Do an extra spin. I guess you have to get to know this machine well to get it to work to your satisfaction. I like it very much. |

Combi Urban Walker Prestige Can't wait to use – Update November 2015: The pram has since been sold. It has served us very well. I now own an expensive double pram, which is a bit of an exercise to get ready. I miss how easy the… Combi was. _________________________________________ Went to Bubs Baby Shops today to have a look at baby stuff. Wasn't supposed to buy anything yet. We were initially looking at Maclarens because it is quite well known, but after being introduced to the features of the Combi we were sold and got one on the spot. Love that it is lightweight, UV rated, suitable from birth, and very easy to operate. Well padded and looks so comfy for baby and washable too so poo and vomit can be dealt with properly. Well ventilated, with a very accessible basket at the bottom even when fully reclined. Highly recommended for new parents like me and hubby who are overwhelmed with choices out there. :-) Lightweight and easy to operate - can fold and expand using one hand. No bending! A bit on the high end, but I think worth the money. |
