HEIGHTech Safety Systems Terrible to deal with – I ordered online from this company, 2 boxes of Prochoice safety masks as their price was better than anyone else's. But when I got to the shipping, I decided not to go ahead… because it seemed a bit excessive so just left it in my cart whilst I kept browsing. Sometime later, I think the next day, as I hadn't proceeded, I got an email from Heightech offering free shipping 'to sweeten the deal' which I thought was great. This was obviously an automated email generated from their online shop software on abandoned carts. My online shop has the same thing. So, I enter the free shipping code and proceed with the sale. This was on Nov 18. Nov 30, I ring their 1300 number on their site to enquire as to the status of my order and the receptionist told me I could only enquire via reply to my order confirmation by email. So I went and did that. She told me someone from sales would get back to me. Two days later, I still hear nothing so Dec 2 I ring again and again was told to reply by reply email to the order confirmation. I explained I had already done that so she said, " I'll see if I can find anyone to take your call". I was put through to a young sounding fellow and explained my enquiry. He said, " do you share your credit card with anyone else?" and I replied "no!" to this rather strange question. He proceeded to say that my order was collected by someone o0ver the counter in store. I said, "how could that be? I live at least 500km from your nearest distribution centre (Brisbane) so it wasn't me. And why would you hand it to someone in store when it was an online order with a shipping address?" He then started getting narky. I was glad I had him on speaker phone so that my husband heard how he was speaking. He then said," where did you get that free shipping code and I explained (as above) that it came in an email after I abandoned the cart and was the reason I went ahead with the order. He asked it like I must have hacked it somehow, as if they don't have free shipping codes or something. So he went on to say that he would have to look into it and get back to me next Wed (5 days time - 3 business days). I asked why he can't look into it now since I've waited 2 weeks already for my order and rung enquiring twice and he then said in a slow, condescending voice, "I HAVE TO CHECK INTO IT TO FIND AN ANSWER FOR YOU" I got rather offended by this attitude. It went downhill from there. I said I will get onto my credit card company and have the charge reversed if they are not willing to do more than that because I had already waited so long and it was apparent it was on it's way to me. He then told me that it was only $50!! I said it was MY $50 so I guess he assumes that a $50 order was unimportant to the company he works for. If that is the case, then our company will certainly not be spending another dime with Heightech. Just because a first order is small, does not mean a future order was not going to be significant. All orders should be treated with importance. He did say they responded to my email enquiry but I didn't receive it. So they just refunded my credit card. No apologies or anything. I find the attitude from this young fellow quite rude. I would never order from them again and would not recommend online ordering to anyone else. Nothing to do with the product so to buy instore is likely fine, as long as you don't get this young fellow on a bad day, I guess. |

WeldSmart Poorest customer service ever – My husband ordered a welder from this company on 19 Jan 2015. Today is 27 March 2015. We still do not have our order 9 weeks later. First of all, we were told by the sales manager… the item would take 2 weeks to deliver. At the time, he said it wouldn't leave the warehouse until the Tuesday of the following week, which we reluctantly accepted. After 2 weeks, I rang to ask where the welder that we order was. As we have problems with couriers delivering to our town, and deliveries being left at the next town in a depot and that depot not advising the arrival of freight, I asked Weldsmart for the consignment note number so I could follow it up. This is when I found out that the welder had not been sent because they couldn't quote a number. I was advised the welder would be sent by the end of the next week. Again I gave them a period of grace. I asked that when the welder was sent that they email or ring with the consignment note number, and explained the reason again that I wanted to be able to follow it up myself. When I still hadn't heard from Weldsmart, 5 weeks after the order date, I rang again. I spoke to the Sales Manager who informed me that the shipping container had not left China and was being held up by Chinese New Year. I expressed my dismay that they did not inform us at the time of the order that they did not in fact have the product they sold me, in their warehouse!. I also asked how Chinese New Year could delay a delivery by 5 weeks! I rang again after a week having not heard from them, and the person I spoke to said the goods would be delivered on 13 March 2015 by TNT Express. It was at this time I started keeping a diary of the calls I made and what was said. It was becoming apparent this company are not honest. So, when nobody called to advise a consignment note number by March 13, I called again and got the sales manager. He said the order still had not arrived and tried to tell me all about how there were 20 welders ordered and 19 other people were prepared to wait. I advised that had we been told the truth about delivery, we would not have ordered, as we had a job to get out and were waiting on this welder. He advised the welder would be delivered 19 March. I rang again at 11:15am on 20 March, not feeling at all surprised that I had not received notification that the welder had been dispatched as promised. I asked the person who took my call for the Con note number. He said the warehouse was busy sorting orders and that he would email the consignment note number by the end of the day. It was no surprise when this company did not follow through on their promise, again. I rang again 24 March, 2015 at 1:52pm and spoke to another male whom I had spoken to before. I told him I wanted the item I had paid for and wanted the consignment note number for the freight company. I sat on hold on STD for 4 mins while he went to check on it. He asked for my phone number saying someone would have to call back as the person who could supply the number was not available. So again, it was no surprise when nobody called back. I called again 25 March at 2.24pm after no callback and spoke to a different person. I went through the whole story complaining that we were not told the item we purchased was not in the country at the time of order, all the different dates given for delivery, the fact nobody ever returns calls as promised. He insisted he would call back in the morning with the information I asked for. He did not call. On one occasion about the call on March 20, I asked for a refund. I was told it couldn't be processed at the Perth warehouse and that I would have to request a refund by emailing the owner at the aol address he gave me. I sent that email on March 25. March 26 I got an email back from the owner telling me he/she (don't know the gender because the person did not identify them self in the email, having emailed from an ipad) stating they were out of office due to surgery (heard that same story on another review which was dated Feb 3, 2014) and also asking for a copy of the invoice. Seems strange this owner doesn't get straight onto their office in Perth to ask for this as I did quote the number in my request for refund email. So he/she already had that number. Today is 27 March and the owner has not made any further contact regards our refund. My next step will be a claim through the court. How can anyone expect a good review when they lie about the availability of product they are to deliver, never return phone calls, never follow through on their promises and run a business like this. They were quick to ask for the money to be deposited, but that was the last contact they made, initiated from their end. I would not recommend them to anyone simply for the poor customer service. We decided 3 days ago that we just had to order another welder from elsewhere (thus our request for the refund on March 24) as we have a client who has had their job held up waiting for Weldsmart to deliver. My husband went to pick up that welder this afternoon. It had to be shipped to our nearest town with freight depot, yet was here in 3 days. I think that says it all!! |

Caseme This shop offered superior customer service online – I found everything I was looking for to suit the new iPad2 I bought for hubby for Xmas plus the screen guards for my iPad1. The website is so easy to navigate and checkout… couldn't have been simpler. I ordered my stuff on Saturday Nov 26 and received it in the mail today Nov 29, just 2 business days later, in country Qld. No online shop can offer better than that. They have a physical shop too so if in Brisbane, you should check them out! There webpage is http://www.caseme.com.au/ Everything, they had everything I ordered and shipped it pronto Nothing wrong at all. Awesome store to deal with |

Danoz Direct Mr T Flavorwave Platinum Very disappointed – I did wonder if it could be as good as they said. It wasn't. Even the CHOICE review was too generous, which is what I based my decision to purchase this appliance on. The bowl is… heavy so it is difficult to wash in the sink unless you have a nice big sink. The self wash action isn't all it's cracked up to be. Looks good when they demonstrate it but then, they are doing it in a clean bowl. I have had my Flavorwave for about 18 months. Haven't used it much because cleaning up is quite difficult. I just went to roast a chicken in it and the darned thing won't even turn on. I really feel I wasted my money on this purchase and certainly won't purchase anything else from Danoz Direct. Another feature of the Flavorwave I don't like is the reflective plate under the bowl. It would have been prudent of the manufacturer to make the reflective plate the same size as the bowl or at least the base. The number of times I have cut myself whilst cleaning the bench around it I can not count! At this point I think I will offer on Ebay all the accessories I bought for it and the glass bowl. The ad on tv was impressive and while it worked, it did cook a chicken well. Certainly not all it's cracked up to be. A waste of money in my opinion |

Canon FAX-JX500 Terrible – We bought this fax because we have always owned Canon multifunction printers. Canon make good printers but not good faxes. Eventually the rollers wouldn't take the page in anymore… and recovering faxes in memory appears impossible. Now looking online for a manual and that seems impossible too! After using it, nothing much. We could never get the machine to not take over answering even if we picked up the phone before the 4th ring. We ended up unplugging it and never pulled it out again.Took it out today to loan mum as her phone on her fax wasn't working and the couple of faxes that came through we can't retrieve. |
