there's not enough oomph. This is a home machine that is quite compact and yet it grinds, extracts crema and steams. You can choose your own coffee beans, adjust grind size, fiddle with tamping and muck around to make the coffee you desire. The steam wand has enough pressure to microbubble and whirl milk well but, while you can make enough milk for two cups, if you drink mugs like we do you can only make one mug at a time. With a little patience you can make cafe quality coffees. It's a great home machine for people who need their coffee just right. Perfect coffee. It's a production - you have to care about your grind and crema - not for sissies.
