  TDK ST-150

Good – These are a great pair of headphones for the price. At $24.95, they are an excellent choice for those who need a set of muffs for the computer or tv. It has a decent 3m length

cord which was perfect for me. A big plus for me too was the fact that the cable only comes from one side, so you don't feel like you're being strangled all the time. I was quite impressed by the sound they put out. Nothing awe inspiring but better than I had expected. Sound leakage is a slight problem, with my wife complaining that she can still hear the sound, when they are plugged into my laptop. Overall, highly recommended. Comfortable, compact, decent length cable Sound leakage

Samsung 539L Side by Side SRS5 Series

Good – A fantastic fridge/freezer combination. So much better than a standard upright fridge/freezer combo. This is the only side by side we were able to find narrow enough to fit in

our small fridge space. I would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone who wants a large fridge that fits in a small space. It has a huge amount of space, and it cools/freezes very quickly. You cannot put the ice maker thing on the top shelf of the freezer because it makes your ice taste like whatever is in your vegetable drawer. The handles don't feel as solid as some other brands.

  RetraVision

Good – I think retravision is a good place to shop for appliances and whitegoods. I wouldn't buy home entertainment or computer products from there because their prices don't match dick

smiths, wow or jbhifi. They have some great specials on their small appliances every now and again. They don't ram extended warranty down your throat. When something does go wrong with a product they are usually quite helpful. prices are flexible, they also offer defcom discount. They have possibly the biggest range of whitegoods and appliances around. Staff are not hugely helpful or knowledgable, but they are mostly friendly.

Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Electronics

Terrible – I won't buy anything from Harvey Norman unless I can't find it anywhere else. I hate greediness and dishonesty. Btw their flexirent is a total rip off, don't do it!! Good range of

items I suppose. The staff are all money hungry. I have a mate who worked there and quit to work at jbhifi instead. They are all on commission, so when you walk in the door interested in buying a computer they think, oh good another opportunity to make me some money, not what can I do to get these folks the best deal possible so that they'll continue to be faithful customers.

  Dymocks

Excellent – I think this place is the best place to go when you are looking for a book that's hard to find. So far i have never come across a book that the staff have not been able to order

in for me. The customer service is also brilliant in all the stores i have been to. You can tell they all have a real love of books and they are genuinely interested in every purchase or request you make. You can buy books at dymocks that you can't get anywhere else. Their prices are consistently cheaper than angus and robertson. prices should be cheaper on more readily available books
