Tommee Tippee Twin Handle Cup Bad – I bought two of these to try to help my toddler get used to a cup. I found that just trying to screw the spout section on could be rather difficult and often it would not line up… on an angle that made it usable with the handles. The hard plastic lids are great to have but not easy to get on or off at all, especially if your toddler is screaming for a drink. The other problem is that the spout section is so large that it caves in while the toddler is using it which seemed to affect the flow. I wouldn't buy any of these again. haven't found any yet. silicone spout is much too flexible and caves in when being used. Can be hard to get the spout section screwed on and the hard lids on and off. |

Grobag Sleeping Bag Excellent – I only wish I had found out about these bags earlier. They are pricey but if you get them on eBay you can save quite a bit (just make sure they are genuine grobags). They are a… great way of keeping baby warm and cosy especially if your bub tends to escape from wraps and sheets. They come in a variety of warmth ratings so no matter what the temp, there is a bag to suit. Our baby likes to sleep with his arms out so the bags are a lifesaver for us as now we don't worry about him getting cold or suffocating under sheets when he moves. Was also good for the middle of the night feeds as he didn't get cold from being taken out of the cot. hassle free way to keep baby warm and cosy without having to worry about strangulation or suffocation. can be rather expensive but if you search on eBay you can often find great second-hand ones. |

Angelcare AC201 Good – Altogether we are happy with the monitor. It provides us with peace of mind knowing that the alarm will sound within 20 seconds of no movement or sound being sensed. The only… problems we found were the low buzzing sound that the parents module made (the volume can be adjusted but can be a little tricky getting it to a level you can put up with while still being able to hear what's going on in bubs room). The other problem was that fans and air-conditioners can cause the sensors to not alarm when needed. We solved this by changing the direction of the ceiling vents of the air-con and testing the sensors till we found a position of the vents that didn't affect the use of the alarm. provides ease of mind. easy to take with you if you go on holidays. runs on power or in case of black-out, has battery back-up so there's no need to worry about it not working if the power fails. buzzing interference sound seems to be always present. Fans and air-con can interfere with the sensors and the alarm may not sound if necessary. |

Rite Aid Nursing Pads Excellent – All up I was really happy with this brand, they are cheap and do a great job. They have a lining that helps to prevent seepage through to your bra and top. I did have to change… them regularly but that's only because I had a huge milk supply so when feeding bubs I always had to change the pad in the side I wasn't feeding from. I tried other brands and found I still had to change them just as regularly and they often didn't have a lining, so these being a cheaper option was great. They come individually wrapped too so it's easy to take a couple with you without worrying about them getting damaged or dirty before use. good value for money, they have a lining to help prevent seepage I went through a lot of them but that happened with all brands I tried. I don't think any brands are meant to last the whole day. |

Subaru Dealers Ok – We decided on a subaru after having an accident in a car where the driving wheels lost traction. We went to Illawarra Star Subaru and were very happy with the service. We did do… our homework beforehand and the poor salesman did not end up making much of a commission...if any. I think we turned him into a chain smoker as on the day of delivery we turned up only to find out it wasn't at the yard yet. We went and had a coffee across the road and watched the poor gentleman pace up and down while on the phone trying to sort things out. The car turned up and hour later and they even washed, vacuumed it and blacked the tyres for us...even though it was brand new! They were very apologetic for the delay but considering it was only an hour wait I can hardly complain. We don't take it there for servicing as it's too expensive to have people in Subaru t-shirts service it. On the whole, we had a great experience buying our car from there and recommend them to people looking for a subaru. Beautiful car, all wheel drive, safety record. Car was a little late to be delivered but only by hours. They don't offer competitive servicing prices. |
