Bloomex Awful. Flowers looked 6 months old – Ordered a native (deluxe) floral arrangement for Mother’s Day. The flowers were really dry and looked like they were 6 months old and scooped off the ground. The banksia flowers… were completely brown. Some of the banksia leaves were a sickly yellow, others were missing most of their leaf structure. The website claimed a ‘beautiful’ arrangement would be delivered. There was nothing beautiful about the arrangement. I contacted customer service requesting a refund and they refused. Apparently they are fine with the brown ugliness and only offered me a $30 credit for a future delivery. I am certain if they used a photo of the arrangement sent in my delivery to advertise on their website they would have no customers. |

Sunbeam Verve Platinum SR6550 Fine at first, but then terrible – Bought for a reasonable price at Kmart and it worked well for a short while. This iron then began to leak and spit a little. Now it doesn't heat up, despite the light being… 'on'. The heat selection dial seems fine and I can hear the thermostat clicking, but there is absolutely no heat whatsoever. The iron also beeps when it has been sitting without use for a while, so that function also seems fine. I am very disappointed with this iron. I had my previous Sunbeam iron for close to 20 years. This one lasted just over one year. I don't feel the same way about Sunbeam that I once did. I think I'll try a different brand of iron now. |

Tupperware Ergologics Can Guru Fabulous design. Sturdy and reliable. Good for left handers and children – I contemplated this purchase for a very long time, as it must the most expensive can opener available! So many friends raved about them that I eventually purchased one. It is… terrific. I have now had my can opener for over 6 years and it is still as good as new. The contents of the can never come into contact with the can opener which helps to keep it in 'as new' condition (i.e. it doesn't need to be rinsed off). There are no sharp edges (you can literally run you finger around the edge of the can or lid) - great for children. The design allows the can opener to be used in a left or right handed orientation. Prior to this can opener I would purchase a $10 - $15 can opener ever 2 to 3 years. I love this can opener! No sharp edges, good for left or right handers, contents of can does not come into contact with any part of the can opener. Expensive, though worth the outlay. |

Homemaker Cast Iron Excellent value. Very sturdy – This was an unplanned purchase. I bought it when I saw what a great price it was, as I have always wanted a cast iron casserole dish that could go from the stovetop to the oven.… Being cast iron the casserole is very heavy. Any bigger and I think it would be too heavy for me to lift when it has food in it. The handles are well designed and big enough to get a good grip before lifting. I did find it took a lot of elbow grease to clean after I burnt something in it! Fantastic value. Simple, functional design. Great colour. Lid fits well. Difficult to clean after burning food! |

Optim Steam Clean Not sure if it is really doing any cleaning – I hadn't used a steam mop prior to this one, so I am unable to compare the performance of the Optim with other brands. The Optim seems to work fine - the green light indicating… the water was heated comes on and it appears to be 'steaming' the floor. I'm just not convinced that it is actually cleaning the floor! The floor does not appear to be cleaner than prior to using the Optim. It would be nice if the floor tile grout was cleaned, but my manual mop does a much better job at this. Easy to use. Doesn't appear to actually clean the floor. Quality feels cheap. |
