I have been using this label maker for about 6 years and it is the BEST THING EVER! Fantastic for office or warehouse use, and we use it personally for labelling gifts. We don't

buy cards anymore; we print individual labels with cute pics and a message and attach to the wrapping. Also terrific for printing professional-looking address labels for posting, labelling folders, name tags etc.

It has never skipped a beat after all these years; the print is strong and clear. You can buy genuine or non-genuine replacement rolls with labels of different sizes. There is also the option of a continuous roll which cuts to your preferred custom length. There is no ink, the "ink" is a part of the label, not something in the machine. Labels shoot out fast, no waiting time.

It does print in both black and red (if you buy the correct labels), but we find the black printing to be better. Labels are designed using their P-touch software which is quick and easy to use. You can add text, change fonts, add photos or clip art (kinda retro), borders etc. It automatically detects the size of the label which is helpful. You can also easily add your company logo. Detailed logos will be a little harder to discern on the smaller labels. Apparently you can also print from Microsoft Office (eg Word, Excel).

Our QL-800 is the base model and connects to the PC via a USB cable, there are models that offer wireless connection.

Just be aware that it is a paper label maker. If you need thinner plastic waterproof labels for eg kids' drink bottles you'll need to look at something like one of Brother's PT desktop label makers.

Ideal uses:

- Office - Warehouse - Etsy . eBay sellers - Home organisation - Home office

Great for: Address labels, return address labels, gift labels, file labelling, shelf/storage labelling (where waterproofing not required), product labelling, stick on name tags, general office organisation, home organisation.

Highly recommend!

Don’t waste your time or money. This used to be an excellent provider until it lost its way. There is an awful lot of bait and switch here. Bait and Switch One “Instant Scripts”

for $19 is misleading. For the most part you will have to pay for a doctor’s consult. And it isn’t instant or even quick.

Bait and Switch Two

Advertising leads you to believe you will be able to get a repeat of your usual script. But you may be denied altogether or receive a prescription for only a few days’ supply meaning the pharmacy has to cut into a packet. Then you have to pay again for another GP to issue you with a new script.

Bait and Switch 3

You will be told waiting time is say four hours. When I saw this I thought that sounded ok. I paid upfront and then the waiting time IMMEDIATELY bounced to 8 hours. After 14 hours, in the middle of the night, I had to give up. Sick and abandoned and down $49 until it could be refunded.

Questionable practice:

Patients aren’t seen in order of need. If you agree to pay double you can jump the queue.

Also, they won’t tell you this upfront but be aware that Doctors will sometimes inform you they can’t help with something simple and you need to see your regular GP. Completely ignoring the fact there is a reason the patient turned to Instant Scripts in the first place. You then need to wait a week to get an appointment with your own GP and pay AGAIN.

I understand that some of the above is due to regulations or other reasons. But the advertising needs to be transparent, clear and not misleading.

Let people know they will be waiting 12+ hours before they commit to booking.

Make it clear that scripts are rarely instant nor $19

I would have given one star but I did have a good experience one time with one Doctor who actually helped me.

Ambassador Review Ausclimate EcoSmart Pedestal Air Circulator

Excellent quality, powerful performance and good looks – I thought all fans were the same, but this one is in another class! We’ve owned lots of fans over the years but this one is definitely our favourite. First impressions: It’s

short. I was looking to see how to extend it. Turns out it does all its work from down low, scooping the air upwards and out. It is also light to move around. It has a quality look to it, very different to your usual bargain plastic fan. You definitely get what you pay for. The fabric covering is lovely and because of its size it doesn’t overpower a room like other bulky pedestal fans.

Performance: This small but mighty fan has some serious power! You can vary the speed from a gentle beeeze to a gale-force wind (check out the video). It is quiet on most speeds except turbo (as expected). Turbo speed only stays on for a few minutes then it reverts to your last speed setting. It does a brilliant job circulating air in quite large rooms but we enjoy it most blowing directly on us in bed or at our study desk. There is a setting called “natural” which varies the air speed up and down like a natural breeze.

Air direction: There are so many options! It can oscillate left to right, up and down or a combination of the two. Or you can just use it in a static position.

Controls: You can control the fan using onboard touch buttons, the supplied remote control or a mobile app. The app worked well for us but you do need to create a login and you have to re-pair the unit if you unplug it. We did find the remote needs to be quite close.

If you are looking for a quality fan with good looks and great performance, you’re going to love this AusClimate EcoSmart Air Circulator.

Verified Ambassador Review Karcher K7 Compact

Perfect balance of size and power – We needed a pressure washer for around our home but we were put off by the size of some of them. The Karcher K7 Compact is perfect - powerful but easy to store or throw in the

car.

One of the things I love most about this beast is that it is solid with a simple on/off dial rather than electronics that could potentially fail. The quality is top notch, as you would expect from something engineered in Germany.

The instruction manual is a little lacking but there are loads of videos online which I would recommend watching before you start. Assembly is simple, just push in the extendable handle, attach the pressure gun, screw on the hose nozzle and click the anti-twist hosing into the machine. The unit sucks water in through a standard garden hose or you can buy an attachment to suck out of a bucket. It has a built-in inlet hose that you can pull out and put in a container of detergent. It will suck the solution up and mix it with water.

Before you start pressure washing you are advised to run some water through the gun with no high pressure attachments. This lets you get rid of any air and primes the machine. You are also supposed to vent the machine after use by turning off the hose and letting water run through the hand gun.

The unit comes with two wands or “lances”. One is a dirt buster which lives up to its name. It is a very concentrated, high powered jet which blasts dirt out of paving or brick walls. Avoid using this on delicate surfaces.

The other attachment is a vario pressure lance. You can adjust the pressure from very low to high. This makes it very versatile on pretty much any surface.

If you are keen to buy extra attachments I can highly recommend the eco!Booster 180.

Performance of this little unit is great. I was able to blast away a 30 year build up of dirt on our bricks in seconds. I’ve also used it on my car, outdoor furniture, garage door and pergola.

The unit packs up neatly for storage after use and would be brilliant for a car detailer to throw in the back of the van. It is reasonably heavy to lift at nearly 18kg if you have strength issues but the wheels make it easy to move around.

The Karcher K7 Compact is everything we were looking for in a pressure washer. Excellent power, great versatility and easy to store. It is well-constructed with solid controls. Highly recommend.

Verified Ambassador Review Karcher eco!Booster 180

My favourite Karcher attachment – If you’re a pressure washer fan you will love this attachment. The two lances included with the Karcher K7 Compact are great but I was a little hesitant to use them on our 30 year

old pergola with 30 year old paint. The eco!Booster 180 handled it like a boss. Nice wide spray, very effective cleaning and gentle on the paint. Fun to use because you can cover a larger area in less time.

Since recording the video I have used the eco!Booster on my car (Kia Carnival van with a lot of built up grime), my wheelie bin and the garage door. All were cleaned quickly and efficiently. If you’re a car detailer you’ll want this one.

The eco!Booster attaches easily to the high pressure gun in the same way you attach other spray wands. Simple to remove also.

I highly recommend adding this attachment to your Karcher kit.
