Sony Ericsson W610i Excellent – I've had this phone for quite some time now and I must say it is by far the best one I've ever had. I went as far as buying a second one just so that I can have this beauty for… some time into the future. The keys are just fantastic. They might not look easy to use but I can assure you that you never hit the wrong keys. Speaker is great for listening to music on the go. Very customisable, you can set SMS ringtones from MP3's. Set individual MP3's for particular people. Great LED light. Best phone I've ever had! Durable, the keys, customisable, super flashlight. Setting up mobile internet. Sony Ericsson headphone jack. |

Ikea Klippan OK – Considering the price you pay for this couch, it really isn't too bad. It's a very nice look piece when the fabric is adjusted. Though the problem is, after sitting on it, you get… creases. This means that every time you get up you have to fix the creases! So maybe I am a little obsessive compulsive, if you don't mind a slightly tardy look, then fine, but if your like me, know that you'll be adjusting it every time that you get up. Washing the couch coverings is also a bit of a chore. They are quite large and difficult to wash. They also lose colour each time that you do wash them. Overall, a very good couch, though not for the obsessive compulsive! Cheap. Fabric covering needs constant adjustment. |

BenQ FP71E+ Bad – Bought this a few years back. When it's working it is a very decent unit. Nice viewing during the day and night time. The speakers are very loud and clear for something so small.… Not enough bass though! The angle can be adjusted, though not the height. The button that you press emits a very bright blue light, which is central and very annoying. I had to cover it with a piece of bluetack. Over the three years that it's been under warranty, its broken three times. The company always repaired the unit, though it is a huge hassle to go to the other side of town, then pick it up again. Overall, a very nice unit, though not very reliable. Cheap. Looks nice. Fixed under warranty three times. Emits a high pitched screeching noise. Bright blue power light. |

Nissan Pulsar N16 Good – 2004 Nissan Pulsar ST. Bought this as an ex-lease vehicle with 40,000km's on the clock. Kept it till we had a crash at 90,000km's. For the time we bought it, it never skipped a… beat. It was regularly serviced and as a result we never had any costly drama's. Fuel efficiency is great. The 1.8L engine is definitely enough for this vehicle. Decent amount of boot space. The factory sound system is great compared to other cars. Mechanically never had any problems with it. The car was good, until we had a crash in it. Clipped the edge of a tree on the side of the road. The car instantly flipped onto its roof. Didn't take much at all. The only airbag in the car did not go off. Fortunately the car crumpled well and none of the passengers were injured. So yeah, overall a very decent car, though safety is definitely questionable! Cheap to run. No major repairs in the four years we had it. Nice interior. Great sound system. 1.8L engine suits the car well. Had an accident in it. Seemed to flip onto its roof very easily. Airbags didn't go off. A little cramped in the back. |

Apple iPod Touch Excellent – I've had my iPod touch for over two years now. It's been strewn in my uni bag without any care and it is still going strong. Unlike the old hard disk based iPod, this one is solid… state memory and hence is built to last. I've dropped to onto cement twice now, and apart from a few scratches on the side it has not skipped a beat! For style, variety and reliability, you really can't go past the iPod touch as a music player! Looks fantastic, simple to use, the programs available for it are limitless. Back isn't scratch resistant at all. The front holds up a little better, though still gets scratched. |
