unnecessary. It works fine and is easy to use. My main criticism is that it is quite loud when I use the bake function and it is in preheat mode. Once preheat mode finishes i.e. once it reaches the desired temperature then the noise stops. I am still trying to work out the best settings for my various uses. I like the light feature as it allows me to check on my food without the need to open the door. The top of the oven gets very hot. I accidently left a plastic tray on it one time and it melted the plastic. This might be a concern for households with small children. Overall the oven suits my needs very well and looks great on the benchtop.

wash cycle but is very noisy during the max 1400 spin cycle. Also I wish that it had more wash programs and that I can set my own frequent use program. I use mainly cold water to wash my clothes and wish that I didn't have to reset it to cold everytime. The default water temp is always warm. Also the clothes seem to still have a lot of water left in them even after the 1400 spin cycle. I had a Fisher and Paykel top loader previously and the clothes came out drier.

The separate compartment for vegetables and fruits is brilliant. I have found that it keeps my vegetables and fruits fresher for longer than my previous fridge. The same applies for the top compartment, particularly when I run out of room in the vegetable compartment. My only one negative is that I wish the vegetable compartment is bigger. I find I don't use the whole of the freezer compartment so would rather that it is smaller and the vegetable compartment is bigger.
