Couldn't live without it – I've had an iPhone less than 3 months and am addicted. I use it for everything - phone calls (obviously), diary, games, shopping lists, entertaining the kids, scheduling medication, tracking my weight watchers points, you name it. I've had PDAs of various types before but I actually use the features with my iPhone. It's just so easy to use. The biggest thing going for the iPhone is the app store, as the sheer number and variety of apps is what makes this so great. It's why I chose this phone. But the ease of use and instinctive interface have made it a must have. My 2 and 4 year old can use it.

My other favourite feature is the camera. With this version of the iPhone Apple have improved the camera no end. It's fast and takes high quality images. I have small children and you need a responsive camera to grab those special moments. This one will do it, which is no small feat for an in-phone camera. The only negative is the zoom which is not worth using. It's a digital zoom which means you're enlarging pixels not getting closer to your subject. I recommend taking the photo without it and cropping later as it's the same thing with more control. Easy to use, huge number of apps, clarity of calls, great camera. Battery life, screen and back are easy to scratch so need a cover, susceptible to grit through the docking socket in the base which affects operation of the home key and only solution is replacement (covered by warranty)

I am 72 and while I have a mobile phone I am now looking for something a bit more than sending and receiving messages and making and receiving phone calls this is great feedback for someone looking for a little more than a mobile phone.
