and believe you me its worth getting a video card that can handle HDMI. This is a quality unit at a very reasonable price and I read a great editors review in a PC mag that's why I bought it. I bought this monitor as I needed HDMI to watch my high def video. It has 16x9 screen and 1920 x 1080 format just perfect for my video. It was easy to assemble and gived great definition. Has menu side buttons and tiny speakers which I don't use but at least they are there! Side buttons can be a bit fiddly but changing the various formats HDMI,DVI,D-sub is pretty easy, just press the side button one you find it. No added USB sockets.

The menu to adjust contrast etc was a bit fiddly but the instructions that came with the monitor got me there in the end.
