front loader v top loader – had top loader 18 yrs did not have a problem with it just worn out so decided to try a front loader after recommendation from friends & looking at reviews. Very disappointed with it found it does not wash properly, laundry powder does not dissolve, laundry liquid justs sits in dispenser which is very annoying, cycles are way to long & is very noisy when spinning. Have decided to donate to charity & go back to reliable top loader. They have come along way since the old days

cheaply made, does not live up to expectations they are a load of rubbish

In more advanced Bosch machines I place laundry powder in bucket "I" and napisan or similar in "II" which is normally for prewash, in this machine place both powders in "I". You MUST use a teaspoon of napisan or similar in EVERY WASH. Do NOT overdose any front loader. Do NOT use fabric softner, use sheets in dryer if you must. Do the hottest wash (90deg on this model) at LEAST once a month. These instructions apply to ALL FRONT LOADERS except the latest auto dosing models from Siemens/Bosch (iDOS), a monthly hot wash is still required however to clean the alloy spider and drum and seal, or your washer will fail at 5years guaranteed.
