Great washer – We bought this to replace finally the Simpson washing machine we got in 1989. The Simpson has been repaired a few times over the years but still did a great job of washing. But the bearing were really loud especially on the spin cycle so we decided it was time to retire the old thing.

I was very surprised to see the Bosch clean the cloths just as well as the old Simpson, even though it used much less water and was much faster. It is a very quiet washer, with only a barly audible high pitched noise when its on the spin cycle(which only lasts 5-10 min).

I was concerned about how well it rinses based on reviews here and choice magazine reviews, but I was not disappointed as it rinses well, and I can only assume the other people had put too much detergent. I use 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop with this new machine. Very quiet. Efficient. Fast. Good rising and cloths really clean. Nothing. It would be nice if it had a beep when its done.
