Might work well but has annoying bell – I bought this kettle as we have a newborn child and our old kettle would wake her up. We were desperate for a quiet kettle so we bought the Breville. So it might work well (we had it for one day) but the stupid thing is they put a bell inside of the on/ off switch. So when the quiet kettle has finished boiling an annoying bell clings. This woke my child up. When you pick it up the bell clings, when you pour water the bell clings and when you put it back down on the base the bell clings. You get my drift. Why do they make a quiet kettle that then makes more noise when just moving the kettle around. What a shame. Nowhere on the box does it make reference to this annoying feature.I wonder if Breville see the irony? Quiet boiling Bell, small
