OK – I would do a little more investigating before buying another one.

Investigate how much ink a printer uses before you buy, this one uses a lot on standby without ever printing. I have just started using 3rd party inks, even if it ruins the machine within a couple of ink cycles it will have saved me enough money to buy a new machine down the track. All in one means only one unit power cord and connector. Scans well. Prints well. Nice to have a fax at home- sends OK but causes me grief receiving. A very good colour photocopier. Needs new ink regularly even if you don't print much. Cleans its heads every day wich drains all the colours within a year. Digital camera card reader is really slow, use a purpose built USB reader for that task. I can't find where it scans by pictures to on my iMac. I can't scan at a lower resolution. Not much functionality in the phots editing software. I guess I'm saying it's not really that user friendly.
