Great bike, brilliant value – Bought the bike for $5000 on the road and haven't looked back! 2 year warranty, plenty of power, really maneuverable in traffic and seems really solidly made. Will sit on 100 kmh really comfortably.
There are some vibrations as you move through the rev range but I assume this will settle down as I pile the kays on.
I achieved 4.5 l/100 k's after my first fill which I assume will lower as the bike runs in (I was also riding it pretty hard).
Starts easily because of it's fuel injection (no silly choke to mess around with) and really looks the goods in red.
In short, I totally recommend this bike. Solidly made, efficient, looks the goods and is warranted for two years. Some vibrations, neutral a little hard to find when cold (but this happens to a lot of bikes).
10,000 km's in and the only thing that has happened is the number plate and surround fell off, which probably has more to do with the local bike shop assembly than the bike itself. Mechanically the bike has been perfect, solid as a rock and uses 3.85l/per 100k's on 98. I did my research before I bought it and Daelim are a big player. Buy it, it's a bargain.
To me 165 kg dry weight for a single cylinder 250cc is far to heavy
