Terrible – My husband bought me this for my study for my birthday so I have no idea how much it was.
To begin with I thought it was excellent but I have a thermometer in the room and every time I used the fan I noticed that the temperature in the room rose by a degree or two. I also used it when it was quite hot (35+) and found that after a while the air coming out from it was actually warm and not cold. Neither if these were what I needed so the fan has now been banished to the open plan area and now is barely used.
What a waste of money looks good, easy to clean, novelty ! Raised the room temperature, didn't cool air when hot

You do realise that it is a fan, right? Not an Air Conditioner? No fan cools the air, they all just move it around. It is the sweat evaporating from the skin that produces the cool feeling. I would guess that the fan was moving air around and while doing so pulled the hot air from the ceiling down with the other air flow - thereby creating the illusion that it was heating the room when it was mearly moving the heat in the room around evenly. Exactly what a fan is designed to do.
