Pretty happy, use with caution on wooden floors – This is our first Dyson and overall, pretty happy with its performance so far. We have mostly wooden floors and tiles with a couple of carpeted rooms, so one thing I was looking for was something that wouldn't scratch the wooden floor boards.
I have noticed that if I'm not careful (say, vacuuming in a hurry), something on the foot scratches the wood when vacuuming underneath furniture, the bed etc. Once I was aware of this I was more careful and then didn't have the problem. These scratches aren't deep and will buff out with some elbow grease. Easy to manoeuvre, easy to empty, good suction. Watch out for scratches when down low vacuuming under furniture.
I purchased a special brush foot for wood floors, defiently won't be using the motorised carpet foot.

I have the multi floor gold dyson, named goldilocks! (I name all vacs lol) I love it but must agree that when vacuuming under beds or couches it does mark the wood floors. I have managed to get some of the marks off but not all, You do have to turn the handle to the side in order for the plastic bit at the bottom not to scratch. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. Apart from that, this machine is the best I have ever had, really easy to use, fabulously light and not really noisy. The brushes could do to be a little softer I think, just sounds a bit harsh on the boards. Overall an excellent product.
