It's fantastic picking up dust and dirt, but bulky to store! – Just used our Dyson today after wanting one for a very long time! Purchased this one as they had an extended warranty promo and the price was reduced (and we also just got a cat!). Overall, it picks up dust, dirt and hair extremely well and it does give your arms a workout with maneuvering it as the suction is quite strong on carpet! Works ten times better than your average vacuum cleaner as the dust pick up is brilliant. Great suction on carpet! I like getting an upper arm workout at the same time as vacuuming. A bit tricky to find a neat spot for storage, don't like how the stem sits on the ball...
