Bad – You need to have a space for bin where you will not make the bin constantly open as you walk past within 45cm and the lid is a bit of a cheaply made novelty item. Replacement parts availability would make this a much better product. Not recommended for families kids. Childless household might get more life from the product. Very easy to open when operating properly. Don't sell replacement parts so when lid fails (ours...twice in a little over a year...we had one sensor stopped working and one with broken hinge) you have to buy whole new bin. I refuse to buy a third complete bin for my kitchen!
