Single drawer bought in 2002 sadly just pensioned off!! Bought another one! – Ten years ago as pensioners, we only needed one drawer. My son installed it easily we used it for five years before we moved to park home. My son slid it out of one hole and slid it straight into the prepared space in our new home. After a rinse,I wash bowls, casseroles etc.(after soaking),as well as plates cups etc.glasses and all cutlery,(Not saucepans)all in the one session.I have to say I soak off stuck on food stuff, I only wash once a day sometimes every other day.

We have only called out a repair man twice once after moving and the final one when the drawer decided not to open. The heating unit stopped working after ten years, to replace the unit and the control unit etc. etc. we decided to put it to rest. We have heard it grumbling over the last few weeks and were waiting for it to die. Our drawer never "smelled like a drain" we never had to give it a wash with special stuff, I never had to use special "tablets with sparkling centres etc". In fact I used the store's homebrand powder. I love it and I bought another one straight away! It was easy to fill, I could move the racks around, I could rinse in between washes, and I didn't have to bend down to fill it. It never "smelled like a drain" I used the cheapest powder! No tablets.

I bought a double drawer, stainless steel Fisher Paykel diswasher and have had a multitude of problems. Problem is i love the 2 drawer situation. Thought that the company had great products. Hate their cooktop & built in oven. Nothing but problems
