Bad – I would hope that a dishwater would last longer than 18 months to 4 years. I am now starting to understand that the problems centers on the company: Fisher & Paykel. It looks great. I purchased after seeing one in my sister's house. Unreliable. Within 18 months it shorted out, stopped heating the water and would not turn off. It was one of the more expensive brands and I thought I was investing for the long-term. Incidentally, my sister had to replace hers after 3-4 years.
