Pros:
The picture quality is great. It's relatively light weight. We have it mounted on the wall of our bedroom. Love the built in digital clock. We set the time for it to be turned on every day - don't need our alarm clock anymore!
Cons:
For some reason, we lose channel 7 all the time, be it the HD or the normal channel. Not sure if it's the TV problem or the area we live. the other thing is that when it's turned off, it makes clicking noise for a few seconds.
Overall:
Overall very happy with this TV. It becomes our daily alarm clock, waking up with news in front of us. Picture quality is probably the best among the 4 TVs we have at home.
The LG 37LP1D 37-inch LCD HDTV comes ideal with an attractive facade and an above average image quality. HDTVs should provide excellent display quality and exciting features. The remote has a good balance and easy navigate with one hand.
The screens lack of individual RGB, intensify the settings further and slow up the fine tuning of color.
The 37LP1D has slightly better results with the black measurements. The Picture shows that it was able to produce a more consistent image than most Monitors on the market.
