Pros: The panel is pretty amazing and the picture quality is good because of the excellent contrast, accurate colors etc.. Very natural free image of artifacts and I like the HD ready styling.

Cons: There is no SCART input available and the picture settings reverts to gray edges.

Overall: This is somewhat similar to the 504HDE except for the media box
I have investigated many displays from different TV manufacturers before getting the Pionner. I decided to get this TV because is has a better natural output and the HDMI. It also looks better than the Panasonic TH-50PX25U/P.
My final choice rested between this and the Panasonic TH-50PX25U/P. What tipped the scales was the more natural output of the Pioneer plus the HDMI input and the fact that it looks better.
