Pros:
The diet is not like a diet, its simply what most aussies in my day grew up on. Its easy to adapt it budget wise, and taste wise.
Cons:
Nothing - well, I do hate low fat milk in coffee....
Overall:
The diet is fantastic. I lost over 10kgs in 2007 in 3 months and that was with NO excercise. Ive been back on it for only a week and I already feel balanced and stable both mentally and physically. (I should never have gone off it) If I prefer eggs for breakky, no drama, I just take them out of my dinner protein. I also substituted chicken or fish for some of the red meat to keep the cost down a little. I also substituted bags of "steam fresh" veggies for fresh, the lazy cooks way. It is the most easily adaptable, sensible and balanced program I have ever been on. Did I mention successful? It doesnt get any better than this, and Im sure that Im in a position to judge....I have been struggling all my life with obesity and failed on EVERY other diet that ever hit the market since 1975!!!!
Pros:
The food is great. The shopping lists for the plans were good too, because you didn't have to plan groceries for the week.
Cons:
Didn't really look at the exercises in the front. The diet is just common sense really. I just liked the recipes. Food works out to be more expensive. I don't eat junk, but foods with lots of carbs are usually cheaper.
Overall:
You can also adjust the recipes easily for family members who aren't dieting by adding some extra carbs. If you like meat, you'll love this diet. Recipes are all very easy and have great pictures for every recipe.
