Pros: I really like this diet, it uses everyday foods that the whole family can eat, and has shopping lists and easy meal plans set out to follow.

Cons: The diet has quiet a lot of red meat in it, about four serves a week, which seems like a lot. But you can make substitutes which I did after a few weeks.

Overall: I can recommend this diet plan. It helped me to get back into a routine of good eating, and menu planning. I liked that I did not have to cook a separate meal for the family and I am losing weight on it and feeling healthier.

Pros: Full of easy to follow and easy to make recipes the whole family will enjoy using everyday, easily accessible ingredients.

Cons: Nothing.

Overall: Good advice for a healthy eating plan. Full of handy tips. Very easy to follow. The days can be mix and matched - plan doesn't have to be followed to a tee.

Pros: Good sensible advice on how to eat well and be healthy.

Cons: None.

Overall: There are a lot of good tips in the CSIRO diet that are worth taking on. The book is full of easy to follow recipes and I think the diet is a pretty good sensible option for people, encouraging many of the basics of eating lots of fruit and veges and less junk. It has some great eating ideas and is a good refresher for what you should be doing with your diet. I definitely think it is worth having a look and just taking on a few of the ideas.
