Whirlpool 6ADP5656WHM

Terrible – May as well by new one. But I wont be buying any more whirlpool products and will be spreading the word. My 6ADP 5540 Dishwasher is 2yrs 8mths old. Was OK till it refused to change cycles Computer board died. New one too expensive . Cost $450 to repair Had little use as live by myself and go away a lot.

It was functional but only lasted 4 years – This dishwasher was actually quite good at washing and drying our dishes but broke down in its fourth year which from what I've seen of Whirpool's reviews is quite a common theme. I may have the model wrong as there are three that look similar. Ours is a condenser dishwasher, Whirlpool, like the pictured one. It was functional and did a good job, but it is concerning that so many other people have reported it only lasts four years and is costly to repair. It was made in Germany too which I'm sure we paid a premium for. Functional. Did its job okay when it worked. They are made to break down within four to five years (from my experience and the other posts I've read).

OK – well now apart from when it first didnt wash problem cos of the wire not being connected up its been the best dishwasher compared to my very old dishlex (23yearsold) theres somthing very wrong with whirlpool products as my now 1 and ahlf year old washing machine as in another review isnt working i have a house full of whirlpool dishwasher and washing machine have needed repairs the only thing that hasnt yet is the fridge now 5 months old touch wood well when i installed it it didnt work

Cons: the factory forgot to connect a wire part to the moter there for wouldnt wash any dishes had to wait 4 days for a service man to come and connect it up to make it wash
