30 years after it was made mine is still running fine – This model just has a heater defrost thermostat that can go wrong. $60 to replace yourself if you have a Philips screwdriver. Just had to undo all the plastic lining from inside the fridge to get to it. Uncomplicated and sound in design. I've owned much newer fridges that were deemed unviable to service and dumped them. Show reply

Great fridge. Never let us down – Had this fridge for 13 years and still going strong. Have moved house 5 times and it's gone everywhere with us. Good fridge space with lots of room for standing stuff up and door shelf space is handy. Freezer has always done the trick without fault. Can only hope to find something as reliable when we eventually get our next fridge.  Show details

What a great fridge! – Had this model for over 10yrs and never had a problem, it's great, we have moved house with our LG fridge 3 times it's still working as it did 10yr ago. but that never bothered me. There is a lot of cooling fans in this particular model which is good as all shelves and door zones are evenly cool. I would recommend!

Excellent – Lg is a brand we trust and can rely upon. Although our fridge did breakdown after nine months, it only took a week to get fixed and we havent had a problem with it since and we have hap it 7 years. and room, pretty easy to keep clean did breakdown after about 9 months, took a week to fix it but it was still under warranty, I hate have to get the screw driver out to under the shelves when cleaning them

brought another LG front loader but noticed when I got it home that they have reduced their warranty time on the machine by a year. At the same time we brought an LG fridge / freezer about 440L (as I said up til the washing machine broking all our LG products are great) and all was good, washing machine works well, fridge freezer worked well but after having the fridge for only 3 months the plastic door shelf where you would keep milk, water (the biggest storage door shelf one)the egde cracked and broke so I rung up and had thought all parts were part of the normal warranty but no the plastic shelving has a warranty of 2 MONTHS!!! what a joke as we have to push the door to close it the shelf should be built to with stand this and the amount of goods that are stored in the shelf. We can only assume that when the door closed one time that the milk has bumped the front of the shelf and cracked it. We liked the brand up until recently, freezes well, lots of room, was a good price plastic parts haven't stood the test of time, ice cube thing takes up to much room in freezer, have to push door to close as gets struck when almost shut (does not automatically close like some other fridges), service was not good

Good – A great fridge for the price we paid - $1299. Lots of room in the fridge part. A top investment. I would consider this brand LG once again when thismodel kicks the bucket. by our kids! Just one flick of the button and it superchills the fridge back to a good 2 degrees. The customer service you get once you have bought one is pathetic. We moved and had our freezer door damaged. It took the repairman 6 months to get a replacement door. They had to get it sent of from Eurpoe. Must have come by boat!

Good – great value for money doors can be fitted to beopened from both ends. The freezer is an excellent non frost. Sometimes it freezes stuff in the fridge as well.

Good – excellent everything about it is good so far (knock knock, touch wood LOL) i have had it for 2 years now and nothing has gone wrong. and it freezes great and no frost!!! ohh the only 2 thing are sometimes it freezes stuff in the fridge but not very often and the light inside blue . apart from that its all good

OK – over all its good,but again the cost is a let down it has great holding area,its a good size,has good cooling controll its a bit high in cost
