Pocket Hose Copper Bullet – Review The Pocket Hose Copper Bullet is very lightweight and easy to store, which I appreciated. However, during use, the hose swelled and the head detached unexpectedly, leaving it unusable. This could have caused damage if it had happened near glass or a vehicle. While it’s a handy design, I recommend using it with caution and close to the tap so you can shut it off quickly if needed. Show details
TAFE ST GEORGE CAMPUS - MIS ADMINISTRATION - internal APPEALS PROCESS, INVESTIGATION and COMPLAINT PROCESS – If you are like me you dont read long reviews. But if you are thinking of lodging an internal Appeal Process DONT. A comedy of cover ups and blunders, except it wasn't funny because it was happening to me, at the end of the term year, with unrealistic time frames. I was given a penalty as a result of the "Investigation" that was carried out due… Read more
to my alleged "plagiarism" and I utilised the TAFE's student learning centre to assist me and guess what there was NO MARKING GUIDE available, so I failed that as well. Only because I decided to take the process externally did I finally receive an apology literally two months ago for the distress to the point I dont want to complete the course, because the same teachers, head teacher and team leader is still at the Campus. All I seem to have achieved it an unfinished course but I feel all warm and fuzzy knowing my complaint created the need for a new process and job for someone, which won't start until September 2023. TAFE NSW staff did not follow the correct process regarding allegations of plagiarism when it was first identified. Due to my taking the matter extenally it has been identified that their staff need training and support in academic integrity breaches. My external complaint raised issues about guidance TAFE NSW staff are given in making decisions about plagiarism and as a result, TAFE NSW will introduce a new Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure. The new Procedure will provide guidance about managing allegations of academic misconduct and will be operational by the beginning of Semester 1, 2023. TAFE NSW will create a new role - Academic Integrity Lead - who will provide advice and drive consistency in managing allegations of academic integrity breaches. Thanks, but that doesn't help me!!!!!!!!! I lodged an assessment on 21 August 2021 and during marking the teacher identified that it included a number of unacknowledged direct copy and pastes from the internet. The teacher offered me the opportunity to resubmit on 17 September 2021. I decided to lodge an Appeal instead. The Head Teacher, incorrectly, provided me with information about the academic assessment appeals process on 5 October 2021. The plagiarism allegation was not referred to the Student Conduct and Discipline process until 9 November 2021. TAFE NSW has ONLY RECENTLY apologised to you for the delay. I requested a review of my complaint which was carried out by the original decision-maker. This is not the correct process as outlined in TAFE NSW's Complaints Procedure which requires the review to be conducted by a staff member who was not previously involved with the complaint. A fact sheet "History of Violent Behaviour" was sent to me in error due to an administrative error. TAFE NSW sent me an explanation and apologised for any distress caused. The response I got from my external complaint is TAFE’s explanation to address MY concerns is reasonable TAFE NSW’s response appears to address the administrative errors identified in MY complaint. The key actions achieved as a result of the inquiries are: the introduction of new policy and procedure regarding academic integrity creation of a new role to provide advice to staff and ensure allegations are managed in a consistent way an apology to you for administrative errors on the part of TAFE NSW.
As I said it doesn't help me, I feel I was made a scapegoat because I exercised my rights!!!!!!!!!!!
Very slippery in the wet – Fine when it's dry but anytime in the wet...slippery as anything. Have to super careful when starting from a stop. Hill starts in the wet wheel spin is almost guaranteed even with careful clutch control... Show details
Great tyres – we have been using Cooper A/T since 1997 on landcruiser utes and wagons from 45 series to 79 series and Amarok. A lot of very hard rocky terrain, traveled a lot of this great land in a lot of conditions but no snow. vehicles have worked on building sites and done a lot of highway, city and off road 4x4 driving and towing as well. Have traveled… Read more
when the days were 46 degrees and nights 36 and towing 3tonne. Have only ever had 2 punctures in the time we have owned them. We buy a car and change the tyres straightaway. Learnt our lesson with the 79series doublecab. The standard tyres did not stop in rain. As soon as we got to Moorooka the tyres were changed. Have replaced the tyres on the Amarok with 125K on them. We only changed them because they got noisy on the highway. We always made certain that we bought genuine Cooper tyres.
Dangerous – We thought buying Cooper Tyres would be safe, no so. We left for our dream holiday adventure and nearly had an accident. The Tyres have no grip in the wet so ever. Dangerous!!!! We have a hilux dual cab and were towing a 17f van and on the highway travelling south to Sydney when it started to rain and the brakes locked up and the tyres kept… Read more
skidding. We couldn't pull up. Very upset the tyres failed us The bloody rubber is far too hard and not safe in the wet. N.R.M.A. said we were not alone we were the 3rd person to complain that day.
Coopers are not what they say and the warranty is none existent – Bought a new patrol replaced the standard tyres with cooper st drove to high country had to do bypass as track was closed did the gravel road to lacola, about 20mins in blew a tyre stopped and replaced with spare also new cooper st my friend was travelling on BF Goodrich. Not joking about 10mins later blew another tyre on opposite side to first… Read more
blow out. Borrowed my friends spare travelled remainder to lacola flat bed tow truck to Sale closest town to find no warranty as it happened on a gravel road. They also went through a Miriam of excuses why the blow outs where not cover under warranty wrong tyre pressures I asked what they should be and then checked the remaining three tyres that where fitted by Bob Janes Sydney and they where what they should have been but couldn't prove the two blow out tyres where that pressure. what can I say I have used BF Goodrich ever since never had any trouble at all.
Cooper Tyres – Be aware of false claims made in cooper tyres adds, they are no better than other tyres and in some cases are worse yet are much more expensive. The coopers we fitted to a landcruiser lasted for 42 though before they needed replacing, when trying to make a claim, we were told if the tyres have been off road the warranty is void. My point is why would anyone pay more for a 4x4 tyre if it can not be used for the purpose it is made for! Show details
Amazing ability for a semi aggressive tyre – I have owned 2 sets, ST and ST -C.55k and 60k. Treated them unkindly. From New climbing Hills in shalely rocks slicing up the treads and sidewalls. Never let me down for their entire life. Thru black soil, mud up Gregory river Qld several 100 mt long. Towed a fully loaded range rover with camper trailer in tow thru the same slop and amazingly… Read more
these tyres found grip in clay that I could barely stand up, not kidding. Climbed the steep washed out riverbed banks in rain several times (I camp a lot) for sure I would be stuck, but slipping n sliding they always managed to find something to bite. Wore evenly, never out of balance and they were only balanced when I purchased them. If they still made them, I would buy a set tomorrow. Just lucky I never received a bad batch of tyres. When down to last 30 percent, grip is a little wanting on tar, but drove to conditions so never a problem. A lot has to do with the driver and being realistic.
better gas milage. on a 2012 toyota tundra TRD 5.7 liter – Had 4 ply rated tires that came w/truck. Got 2 flats on seperate tires(BF goodrichrugged trail) Said screw this. Got some coopers w/10 ply rating. Done some off roading and traction control doesnt kick in. Feel thats what this truck needed to begin with. tires are quiet. Throw mud well enough. No snow yet. Better gas milage by 2-4 mpg. So far so good! No worries. MT USA
Not Good – I put these on my 100 Series Landcruiser and they have had if after around 30,000kms. Admittedly I did go on a fair bit of dirt and sand, that's what they are made for right!! After about 20k shocks and springs became noisy, which were just replaced. Have now fitted Desert Duellers recently, but only time will tell, I suppose. Coopers, never again, the only saving grace was I had no punctures.
Total junk!!! – After 20,000km they became slippery, im running 28psi in the tyres now and they are still terrible!!!!! Im going to change tyres before the wet comes cause i have to switch into 4x4 at nearly all intersection in the wet so i dont get wheel spin...................... very very unhappy with my Coopers ST Nice pattern but thats about it Slippery
Would Not Choose any other tyre – Have driven on these tyres since September 2001 with only one puncture which I repaired my self. I have worked in the outback for almost 30 years driving many dirt roads, station roads and highway bitumen in Holden Jackaroo and for the last 10 years in a 100 series land cruiser with all the fruit (ie heavy vehicle). I average around 80-85,000 per… Read more
set of St's and and for the last 18 months ST Maxx. I have always rotated every 10,000 km and am paranoid about correct air pressure depending on the road. I use 43 psi hot on bitumen, 32 psi hot on normal dirt sand gravel roads and 26 hot on rough tracks. I use 18 psi in sand. These have wonderful reliable tyres over the last 13 years as my employment took me top many remote places through outback south australia as an insurance broker and agent. For the the trick is correct tyre pressures at all times. I have done a total of 527,000 on Coopers Tyres in 13 years with one puncture. You cannot get more reliable than that. Reliability, great mileage occasional chipping on earlier versions of the ST
DOUBLE BLOWOUT – Big caution here people. Two different sets of tyres. Two major tyre failures at highway speeds. $10,000 damage to an 80 Series LandCruiser. Cooper rep agreed that manufacturing faults were present on all remaining tyres. Had all replaced at no cost but they were not interested in damage to the vehicle. Complete tread face separation at 105kmh on… Read more
the Warrago Hwy Qld and another incident on the Newel Hwy NSW where part of the tread face separated. Two completely different sets of tyres & sizes but same result. For safety sake, don't risk your life. I learnt my lesson after being a Cooper fan for over 10yrs and 6 sets of tyres. Their build quality & QA is very questionable nowadays. I will not purchase another Cooper Tyre again.
Deadly. Poor build quality for Aussie Roads. Bad customer service.

damm dangerous – Had a set of these on the drive tyres of my cruiser ute only done 35000 ks done gibb rv road okay then cruising on black top and one exploded .tore mud guard off. checked other one and it was shaped like a motor bike tyre .coopers expert told me a small fracture started on side of tread then worked across join of tread causing tyre to blow … Read more
out and throw tread off. my opinion .they should blow out where fracture is not throw whole b.... tread off...trre fitter from wa said they cant handle the heat and a few rock and wont have them.. coopers reimbersed me the value of 1 new tyre blow tread off and take out gaurds and brake lines
WORST 4x4 TYRE – I recently bought 4 x 17in cooper s/t tyres for my 2007 sr5.i do mosty city driving on them.i reacently made a trip from sydney to dubbo to visit a mate who lives up there.id just had a service on the vechicle which included a tyre rotation every 10,000klms so i get nice even wear.i went to a tyre shop in dubbo to get a wheel balance due to a… Read more
shaking steering wheel on the trip.when the front wheels were taken off the fitter noticed a big bulge on the inside of the steer tyre which coul not be balanced or refitted onto the vechicle due to being unsafe, and was forced to purchace a brand new tyre.i was told to go back to where id purchased tyre in sydney and they should sort out warrenty.on my way back to sydney from dubbo id copped a rear blow out.id pulled over and to my astonishment the rear cooper had split the side wall from the tread to half way down to the rim.had to then put the spare on.went back to the place of purchace where i buy all my truck and car tyres and he said the bulge was caused by incorrect tyre pressure.i run the recommended 40psi for that tyre.he said that the split tyre was proberly caused by a sharp object and it may not be covered by warrenty.but i had to purchase a new tyre and that the damaged ones had to be sent overseas for inspection and there was no garrenty of a refund. this vechicle has rarely been off road.and the off road track its been on is a 2klm smooth dirt road leading to my mates place in dubbo twice. had done about 40000klms on them and still had 50% tread left warranty does not exist, tyres buldge out on side walls and split on the side walls.origanal bridgestone tyres that came standard wore rite down to nothing with no problems and done 60,000klms
very good marketing – my patrol i bought came with a fairly new set of cooper atz, I was reasonably happy with them off road after letting pressures down. untill i drove the tellegraph track and staking rear left on the shoulder at 32 PSI, the tyre is a write off, the local mech at Bamaga said he wont stock them as they r soo weak in the side wall, as my local tyre… Read more
fitter had told me the same story months before when trying to get 2 spares of the same make. It all comes down to how much manufactures spend on marketing, coopers spend alot, as for my nexy set I think ill try a less expensive make of mtz like silverstone or good year. super strong plys under the tread, far too weak side walls and tread dose tend to get cut up easly

How does a fairy tale start? 'Once Upon A Time' – Had a set of 33/12.5/15 on my Landcruiser 60. 100,000km plus but they became slippery on a wet bitumen road once about half worn. I still have them now residing on an off road camper. They'll do for it for many years to come. Their long life obviously comes from the harder rubber (synthetic) compound once they start to wear a bit. I agree,… Read more
they do need rotating front to rear every 5,000km on any solid front axle 4WD as the outside edge wears quickly owing to the fixed camber angle Great all rounder, better than an A/T, not quite as good as a M/T. Took me everywhere I wanted to go, and "No" it wasn't Toorak Maybe my set were made on a Monday or Friday when the bloke couldn't care less. Had lots of trouble keeping them balanced
Excellent – A brilliant all round tyre that has been the most reliable tyre I have ever owned - and least expensive per km. Longevity is great. These tyres are on a '97 Toyota Prado GXL and have now done 133000Kms on a set of 5 over the last 10 years. The original tyres were the standard Goodyear which when I purchased the car,had what looked like near new… Read more
tread depth and we only got 35700 Kms out of them. I collect my own firewood through the State forests of NSW (yes - with a permit) towing my 8' x 5' gated trailer. Even towing this fully loaded up very steep and rocky tracks, these tyres have never looked at giving up.
I have regularly driven in snow (at least twice each year) and have not had any problems with loss of grip.
As far as wet weather is concerned, these tyres are brilliant, but then they are on a station wagon style of vehicle which is nowhere near as light in the back end as a ute or van style of vehicle. Also, permanent 4WD would probably assist here as well.
I am also in the NSW Rural Fire Service (though nowadays, not as active as I would like to be) and have occasionally taken this vehicle out with the Brigade.
I have also used them on Stockton Beach. Performed better than I expected.
Been throughout outback NSW, NW area of Victoria and up into the heartland of SA. Only ever one puncture - from a piece of reo from all places where I had the wheel alignment and balancing done last time, and even then it took me a couple of months to find it as the air pressure only dropped around 5psi every two weeks! Removed that reo and repaired the puncture and has been good ever since.
Yes. I adjust my air pressures for wherever I drive to suit the conditions and do a check each two weeks.
I am now ready for my next set, but as I am setting up my own company now and as yet don't have the cash flow and won't be going "off the black top" as much as I would like :(, I am going for the ATR's. Slightly noisy on the highway, but I love music so I usually don't hear it.
On the way down – I initially bought my Cooper St in 2005 and they lasted me almost 120,000km. I bought another pair since and these have only done 60,000 but already they are lacking grip. I got a flat on one Cooper ST in 2006 at 35,000km and kept it as a spare. That spare tyre which had already done almost 35,000 km had a bigger grip than the new Copper ST Tyre i… Read more
bought in 2010. Very Good allrounder offroad when under 60,000km but then the shallower grip really shows. Shallower grip and more expensive. No more real value.
I have had Coopers on my Pajero and they are worn out after only 33000 Klms
Excellent – Love them, had STT's sold them to a mate and put ST's on my 4.2 factory intercooled turbo diesel GU. Have 285/75/16's and the thing has driven over everything I have chucked it at, From snow, to rocks, to goopy stinky clay, to the princes hwy. I used to have a set of BFG all terrains and a set of BFG Muds (the original one) now, I have one set of… Read more
tyres that do both jobs jut as well. I cant believe these people who talk about chipping and broken luggs!!!!! Have you people never heard of adjusting you tyre pressures to suit the conditions you are driving in. I mean really watch any form of racing they will change air pressure by one or two psi as a tracks temperature changes. They dont do it for fun, air makes a difference. I think we can all agree not much weighs more than a GU in full trim, and I have finally after all these years of being told by people with 40 poung in their tyres in the bush, how coopers chip, managed to chip one. But i figure since I was stationary on a rock track at redline in first low with the front diff lock in and blue smoke pouring off all four tyres, well really sh!t happens really. They came with a 80,000km warranty. I had one develop what looked like a crack right near the rim at about 8,000kms, in the really thick section of the tyre, a couple of people told me it was just cosmetic, ( a fold crack or flow fold or something like that they called it, something to do with how much rubber goes into that part of the tyre, apparently truck tyres do it as well) the bloke from cooper came and looked at it and replaced. I have never even been able to get any of my bf's looked at by a rep!!!!!!. If you are only driving on the road by a road tyre. But if you want one tyre to do a whole lot of jobs, I love it!! Oh and all these people who reckon they dont grip on wet bitumen, check your air pressures. TOO MUCH causes as many problems as TOO LITTLE. I run the patrol at 32 or 34 on bitumen, 18 and below in the bush. THESE "TIRES" sorry tyres absolutely ROCK. If you dont cross rotate them they can get noisey. Dont stick them on never rotate them and expect them to not get noisey.
good offroad tyre – It's good off-road but dangerous in the wet on-road conditions. long wear, don't get bogged up with mud and dirt offroad. As an offroad tyre = great, however onroad = very poor. dangerous in the wet on-road, very poor wet weather grip. Ride from these tyres is a little hard, not alot of flex in the tyre
Terrible – Would'nt buy them again, had many a nervous drive on wet roads, was sure i would get booked for hoon driving with the slipy sliding action. They looked great when i first bought them, and they did last a while Very dangerous on wet roads, and wasn't that impressed with their grip on slick dirt either

Good – A very good allround tyre for my Pajero. Very secure dirt road performance & good bitumen performance. I recommend tyre rotation every 5000k's if you want long life & quiet performance. Tyre pressures at 34psi all round for bitumen plus an extra 4-6 psi in rear when towing our van. Great dirt road tyre with high load carrying capacity Will get noisy if not rotated regularly
Good – Cooper ST's are a premium tyre in price and offroad performance, while still behaving well onroad. Well worth a try! Excellent grip offroad. Nice and quiet onroad. Look good. Nice deep tread and shoulder lugs protrude giving it a more agressive look. I have experienced excellent tyre wear. Offroad performance and great tyre wear come with a price,… Read more
which is wet onroad performance. The ST's definately have less wet road grip than previous all-terrain tyres I have owned.
Excellent – Would I buy these again? Absolutely! These tyres compliment my 4wd. They have great bushability. They have never had a stake penetration (although I like steak for dinner). The latest two I purchased have now done 40'000km and still look new. In summary, buy these tyres if you don't like getting stuck in embarassing situations. First of all, if… Read more
I am going to spend 300 Australian plastic roubles ($) plus I want a tyre that will last a long time. The tyres that came standard on my 4x4 were pathetic and only lasted 40,000km. And in the bush I may have coated the tread of the aformentioned original tyres with grease, they were hopeless. My last set of Cooper ST's lasted 100,000k and I am still running 2 of that set on the rear now and they are at 120,000km! Ok, for someone who loves his Cooper ST's I am going to be truthfull here. They are a little bit noisy on the bitumen. But then again, I am deaf as a post so I really don't care. Just wind up your windows turn on the stereo and air-con and you're in your own little world.
In rain especially if you have a tray back ute it does tend to get a bit of a wiggle going around corners.
Terrible – I have had two blow out on the highway. Defects on DOT numbers starting with u9, 3d,ut,up. Very unsafe I will be taking it furter. Check out google, search cooper tyres law.
Terrible – Quality control at manufacture is critical. 4 new tyres had substantial profile and wall thickness variations. 2 tyres shed large chunks of rubber. 8 punctures over 22000 kms gravel roads. These tyres do not stand up to Australian outback road conditions. Next set will return to BF Goodrich ATs This tyre is a con. DO NOT PURCHASE.
Terrible – Ive been conned and dont recommend them to anyone, ask if you can read the fine print in the warranty about using them off road, why buy these offroad tyres if there no good for off road use nothing, dont be fooled by the stories of great mileage etc. not as good as they make out to be and the fine print in the warranty is deceptive as these so called off road tyres are not guaranteed for off road use, work that one out
Terrible – Bought Cooper Discoverer ST's after recommendation in Motoring journals, etc. They started to split on sidewall - fine hairline cracks before 5000km - took back to our local Tyrepower store and got fobbed off. Then chunks started to peel off tyre wall. No satisfaction at Tyrepower ... didn't want to know about it. Very poor service from store and… Read more
basically the tyres are of a really poor quality. Back to BFGs or Mickey Thompson for us!! Won't use this store or tyres again .. definitely do not recommend to anyone else! really can't think of anything poor quality, chipping, sidewall split
Mickey Thomsons are made by Cooper
Terrible – Tyres cannot be balanced because of the way the have worn (bit over 20000km & rotated at about 5000km intervals). Tread is badly chipped and most lugs have tears, two completey missing one torn to the steel belt. Would never consider buying Cooper tyres again. Excelent off road grip for an all terrain tyre but only good point!! Hard to balance, tread chips badly and lugs tear. Very noisy on road.
Good – love the look and the price is not too bad either. please let me know about my question. Thanks alot. Dan i dont have any yet but would like to get a set...just one question...ive heard they fling stones really bad...is it true?
Good – These tyres should not be disregarded as second rate simply because they are not! I have used all the "big name" brands over many years of 4WDriving and these are good, if not better than most. The durability has exceeded my expectations and should be considered when you make your next tyre purchase. At the end of the day we try to assess… Read more
generally the conditions to which we will use any given tyre and look at the PRO's and CON's of it all. Coopers, I believe, having used them in various conditions are a good all purpose 4WD tyre. No tyre can perform in all environments, it's up to the person behind the wheel to make the correct decisions to ensure their preservation! Both the tyres and the drivers. The ST-C is a great tyre!. Those who claim multiple punctures should look at their driving ability? I lived in far western NSW on some of the hardest rutted, rocky roads that could be dished up and that climate changed on a daily basis.
In considering the Cooper ST-C factors such as road handling & noise(tar) and grip in muddy /wet conditions where major priorities. The Cooper stood up in all facets. People that can't drive to the conditions and then expect tyres to make up for their incapacities, SIMPLY SHOULD LET THEIR SPOUSE HAVE A GO! How many ? punctures in ??000 Ks. I have'nt had anywhere near that many punctures in my driving history and that's over millions of Ks. Get a grip! So to speak!
Good – Very good tyre indeed, trully recomended for SUVs and light trucks. Very comfort ride, feels soft, helps absorb rough road, gives you the feeling that you can go anywhere off-road while you can use it for all-day on road driving. Haven't test it yet off-road, but looks really tough, and gives the car a more agressive look. Some noise on the… Read more
highway, much more than a 50/50 tyre, quite less than a 80/20 tyre. I think it may easily cut on the the sides if hit in a sharp rock or any sharp edge.

Horrible mine blew out at 35000ks..on bitumen and nearly caused a wreck
