OK – For outgoing voice message, press menu twice to get into answer machine menu. ok phone for its time, outdated display. Handsfree, digital answering machine does not sit in cradle very well so may not be charging.
Good – I bought this phone a couple of years ago with a second hand set and it has been a great phone. The handset is really comfortable to use. Caller ID allows you to screen calls and let the built in answering machine pick up when necessary. Over the last few months the answering machine has started hanging up on callers and becoming distorted on… Read more
playback so if you only expect your cordless phone to only last a couple of years then you will be happy with this model. second handset available so you can answer phone in different rooms or transfer calls, easy to hear handset, hands free function, caller id
Bad – Help please with this model phone. How do I change the greeting message on answering machine? I have lost my User's manual. Okay phone Handsfree not loud
Bad – It was a pretty good phone but it started to break up (first the case, then the quality). People are saying that its going to stop making calls soon (since they had this problem). very easy to use, perfect size (not too small, not too big), cordless, phonebook and call register functions are very easy to use, good answering machine. Light and… Read more
sleek handset, good phone range. Conversations can be heard with no static. Needs lots of charging, battery talk time is low, the plastic cover over the battery unit came off and broke, handsfree volume is a bit low, boring display.
Good – I have had no problems with this system (1 base unit + 1 ext), and we have had it for over 18 months at least. Everything is simple to use. The intercom is great as we call each other from different levels in the house. Have had no problems with the speakers or handsfree. Conversations can be heard clearly with no static or interference. Love the… Read more
phone book, can find entries the same way as you would with a mobile phone. You can choose from a few ring tones, we use these to differentiate from an external call to an internal call. All up we like this phone system, and I was somewhat surprised to read that other people have had so many problems with it. Handsets are light and sleek. Answering machine is easy to use. I can take the handsets outside and still hear the conversation clearly even though base is upstairs in my bedroom. I seem to be charging the phones a lot. I don't remember what the battery talk time should be.
Terrible – Its not terribly expensive but not the cheapest out there either - for the price I'd expect it last longer than a year without so many problems. Don't think I'll bother with Telstra phones again. Its light, have had no problems using it any part of the house. No problems with volume. The compactness if phone with answering machine is great and… Read more
I also love the handsfree feature. Its a very poor quality phone. Within the 1st week the plastic cover over the battery compartment came off and wouldn't go back on so I had to send the phone off to be fixed, which was a hassle. Now just over a year, the phone cradle stopped working properly so in order for the phone to charge we need to put a piece of cardboard behind it (very unattractive). It seems if this phone is fine for a year but that's about it (its past warranty now).
Bad – Quality of hearing / speaking could be better. Pretty cheap phone, would update / upgrade but would want to trial other telstra phones first. its light weight, compact and good looking. Its sleek, very easy to use When talking to someone your voice echoes and so does the the other persons voice. The ringing volume doesnt adjust
