Appealing to the more economy-conscious, the 120ps 2.9-liter inline-5 inter-cooled turbo Diesel delivers superb performance with 25.5 kgm of torque. The inline five is installed at a 15 degree slant to minimize lateral pressure and friction while improving power and fuel economy. All engines feature Mercedes Benz's unique precombustion technology that helps extract maximum energy from each fuel droplet while preventing knocking and ensuring quieter operation.
As engines age, valve gap tolerance begin to grow leading to noisy valve clatter and deteriorating performance. HLAs incorporate an ingenious design that automatically narrow valve gaps and maintain tolerance at factory specifications. All major components such as the cooling fan, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump, water pump and alternator are driven by a single poly V-belt that has 6 grooves on its surface. The belt is pulled taut by an automatic tension control system that reduces maintenance requirements. To ensure accurate fuel delivery, the fuel injection timing control system is driven by a double chain that connects with the injection pump, engine crankshaft and overhead camshaft. A hydraulic auto-tensioner adjusts chain tension to prevent any potential error.

Cons:
MY MUSSO SPORTS UTE BOUGHT SECONH HAND THROUGH A sANGYONG DEALER OFF WHOM RECONDIOND THE MOTOR, HAS NOT HAD THE CAR RUNNING SINCE PICK UP
Overall:
I HAVE LOST MY BRAKES 4 TIMES IT HAS BEEN IN AROUND 20 TIMES TO BE FIXT AND IT STILL DOSNT RUN NO REFUNED OR REPLACMENT CAR OFFEDRED, NO TOWS OR LOAN CARS.
Pros:
Very economical, comfortable and spacious. Does everything I want it to do and would probably do a lot more if required. Plenty of room for a right foot accelerator (for those with disabilities), allows plenty of clearance from the brake pedal.
Cons:
Had some minor problems, none of which took more than 30 minutes to fix. Don't like the passenger side mirror but most cars have those silly convex mirrors. Coin storage doesn't really suit Australian coins.
Overall:
Getting it in to 4 wheel drive is a lot easier than others I tested prior to purchase. The seat height is excellent for those who have knee problems and/or a below knee prosthetic. Plenty of storage area behind the back seat and a good sized glove compartment. The air conditioner freezes me and the heater cooks me, using either doesn't seem to affect fuel economy greatly.
I have a 2006 Dual Cab Sports and would prefer Ssangyong went back to these instead of the ugly and less impressive Actyon.
