Electrolux Super Combi

Good but a little heavy – I have had and regularly used for about three years. I have recently replaced the battery with one from Jaycar for $15 and is again working very well. The filter has now torn and I would like to get a replacement!! Are they available anywhere as the unit has now been discontinued need a new filter Where can I purchase!!

Excellent – Styish, convenient, effective. It does the job I ask of it as someone who dislikes vacuming especially getting out the full size one to do a small job. Glides, cleans the wood floors, cleans the carpets. I have been waiting for something like this for most of my life! Great cleaner for those who struggle to untangle the bigger boys. Very effective when your flooring is hard, such as wood, and does a great job on rugs with the dirt going right up to receptacle and not jamming in wheels. Nice weight to it. Easy to use. Quick detachment of hand held section means I can quickly go over my lounge suite, and the attachments are tucked away out of sight. Beautiful colour choice for a change, effective cleaning, lights the way down at floor level, it is easy to empty, and no cords. Tucks away in its upright stand recharging as needed and has a sleep mode when it is fully charged. Perhaps somewhat challenging to detach if you have a light grip, but that can be manouvered. Bit difficult to prop up if you have to leave it for a moment.

Good – Pretty much does what you would expect from a battery vacuum. Reasonable suction (nothing like the 220volt vacuums though!). Havn't really tested battery run time but it seems to wane after 15-20mins. Surprisingly, the battery recharges OK and still holds it's charge even after 3 years use. Works well on both carpet & tiles with the power head brush. Can be on charge all the time on it's wall mount. We have had this for about 3 years and it still goes well. Hand held releases easily from the base unit. Dirt can drop out of hand held if something has caught in the crude little valve flap used to stop this. Usual problem with needing to cut hair etc from rotating brush but this is common across all rotating brushes.
