Excellent – I personally WOULD recommend this pram, it is ONLY designed for light walking eg. shopping, out and about. it is NOT designed for all terrain which is why so many people seem to have problems with it. When shopping for your pram taking advice from others is not always helpful for you. always talk with the sales people about what YOU need, eg. you… Read more
might want one for walking over grass or over rocky areas, curbs, bumps etc, you might just want one for a nice shopping pram, which is why I got this great pram and I can see it lasting a long time!!! reverse handle, mosqito net, sturdy handle to hang a well packed nappy bag, looks great and get good comments, put lots of shopping underneath and handels the weight of it all! easy to set up and pack down, not wide like many other prams which can be so tricky when going through checkouts and doorways etc. very reasonable price, can remove just about everything to wash and comes with head pillow thingy, and its light compared to many prams if you have BIG FEET like myself and hubby, you will tend to kick back of wheels!!! wheel started to squeek but was fixed right there in shop when I took it back
Terrible – Save your money. If i hadn't parted with over three hundred dollars for the damned thigh i'd leave it in the street (but this would be littering because it's a piece of rubbish). not a thing! I have to fill this field in so... the padding in the seat and harnesses seem to be well made and comfortable (the baby does not cry when seated). Unless… Read more
you live on a billiard table with perfectly flat surfaces ie footpaths, driveways and roads etc. this pram will immediately develops wheel wobble.
Where footpaths are not flat you have to push and twist the pram in order to walk straight.
I originally thought it was because my son was not very heavy yet and without a little weight in it these issues arise. ..Well 12 months later child in now 11kgs and the pram gets worse. I've tried continuous cleaning of the wheels, different lubricants (silicon spray, graphite {non-static}, WD40) to no avail.
Of course it's out of warranty now so there are no options for return. so frustrated with the pram i went and bought a $40 Target jobbie and it is glorious by comparison.
If you are even mildly active buy anything else by this model of pram, a brick would be easier to push!

Good – we have given this pram hell and it's still going, although we've only been using it 7 months. love the reverse handle, and the light weight (compared to others) came in handy as i had a caesar. bub seems pretty comfy, she is on the small side so still using the head support which is coming in handy. the mosquito net was great for keeping prying… Read more
hands out of the pram, also acted as a bit of a light filter on summer days when bub was very young. we go on walks on uneven terrain and although when it gets really bad it takes a bit of manhandling, overall handles it well.
the wheels have squeaked from the start, but we're just used to that now. it gets annoying having to unlock wheels to fold it properly, but again just takes getting used to. the worst is how hard it is to steer backwards, the wheels are great for going forwards but the canver is wrong to go the other way.
overall though i'm happy with it, no pram is perfect and this one suits us... just hope it lasts after reading some of these reviews! reverse handle; can change which wheels lock; mosquito net, rain & boot cover included; light; can fit heaps in the basket underneath; clear window on hood to see bub when facing forwards hard to steer backwards; wheels have to be unlocked to latch when folding; squeaky wheels

Great pram / stroller with a number of features – This is a great pram and I would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to steer and is very sturdy. Has a number of reclining positions and a five point safety harness. Large basket underneath and good breaks. It folds up relatively ok and fits well in the back of small cars - compared to may other prams. The shade cover could be larger but you… Read more
can purchase add ons and I have a generic shade attachment that zips on. Bub loves to ride in it.
You can reverse the handle so you can keep an eye on your little one and you can also make all wheels swivel, which means that when you reverse the handle it isn't awkward to steer. Great for young cubs and toddlers alike. Easy to fold up, easy to steer, looks comfortable and bub loves it. Large basket Could be smaller when folded - but thats not really an issue. All prams take-up space.
I RECOMMEND THIS PRAM TO EVERYONE!!! – It's very light weight, easily maneuvered and offers ALOT of things that a parent/s should look for in a pram or stroller. I love the boot cover because it protects little ones from the elements and the mesh cover is an added bonus even still. The undercarriage compartment to me is awesome because it holds so much in it. I couldn't believe that I… Read more · 3
picked up for a great price and I definitely recommend this pram to everyone. Reversible Handle, Boot Cover, Mesh Cover, Suede Head Support, Storm Cover and Undercarriage Compartment. Is also very easily maneuvered. I didn't find anything wrong with the pram!!! It was perfect and a great buy.
Best Pram at a great price – I loved this pram from the get go. It was easy to use, light weight and come with alot of little extras like the rain cover, cold cover etc. As I didnt have a car at the time I used this pram everyday and it was fantastic on all terrains reliable, great price, versatile I dont have any cons at all
Negative reviews
really bad pram – The front wheel broke off, the handle not stable, back wheels buckled, the pram steered sideways, It was leaning to one side. bad wheels, bad handle, sharp bits on the inside, bad everything... Our baby got injured from it :(
Terrible – VERY DISSAPOINTED. I will not buy this brand again and will not recommend it to others. Very poor after sales service. Reverse handle, mosquito net, under carriage storage after using for one week (about three times), the handle failed to lock into place - pram was returned to company for repair, they left me without a stroller for over a month, still haven't got it back and no one can seem to tell me where it is.
Terrible – only owned this pram for three weeks before i had had enough! i wouldnt recomend it to anyone. I have a phil and teds now and have had no problems at all reverse handle, newborn head support, big basket with zip closure, bootcover and netting. the wheel buckled, couldnt pull it backwards with out the pram wheels going all over the place

Very easy, durable and comfortable... Loved it – Loved it n recommend to everyone... Many of my friends and relatives bought it and simply no complaints so far.... Glad I bought it too... Easy to fold.. Durable.. Comfortable for kids and not very expensive.. I went out for long walks with my son for almost 3 years on this pram n still was as good as new one .
A versatile and durable pram – The enigma is great as it is lightweight, folds easily, has a simple reversible handle and is fairly easy to maneuver. I bought it second hand so am not sure of how much it was previously used. The wheels were quite wobbly and tilted when going around corners. Small parts have been replaced using spares bought on eBay and the problem solved. Overall a versatile ans durable pram.
Love it!! – We purchased this back in 2006 & it has lasted almost 10 years, we are just now having our second baby & I've pulled this pram out of storage to use it. I've never had a problem with any terrain as I used to walk everywhere & lived in the middle of no where. Even bindi's didn't harm this bad boy of a pram!! Great, Easy to assemble & use, light… Read more
weight, lasted until my daughter was 3 as mine converted into a stroller & basket was great for heavy loads of shopping!!
Good – I found this was a fantastic stroller, as a first time mum I was so confused with all the different strollers - but I am very glad this was my first choice. I was very sad to have to sell it, but was equally happy to pass it on to another mum knowing she would enjoy it just as much as I did -LOVE the reverse handles to I could see my bub when she… Read more

-Lightweight
-Folded away small enough to fit in my wee Suzuki Swift boot
-LOVE the large hood - living in the tropics I needed a decent sun shade :) -Just a small issue sometimes with the wheels getting a bit mucked up over rough terrain, they would get all crooked and wonky - but this was okay

Excellent – I love this product and would look else where for anything else. I have used it for both my son and daughter and different times. It very easy to clean. And super easy to use. This is a light weight easy to use stroller and very comfortable and roomy for bubs through to toddlers. Multi level layback, reverse handle so you can see baby while… Read more
pushing, all wheel stear or lockable fron.rear wheels, 5 point safety harness, easy to fold up to put away, removable front bar that also swings to side for easy nappy changes
Excellent – I would highly recommend this pram. It is comfy for the baby and easy to manouvre and use. It is a lot lighter than most prams also. And it is well priced. The reverse handle is great to be able to see the baby and also change directions to keep the baby out of the sun. It is light enough to be able to get it into the car easily. The basket… Read more
underneath is big and fits plenty in it. The fabric is nice and it is really comfortable for bub. The hood also provides good coverage. It is just so easy to use. Locking it once it is folded down seems impossible. Mine sets off the alarms at the shops.
Excellent – Overall, a great pram. Very light and easy to setup and fold down. Great to be able to reverse the handle - especially on a sunny day when you can flick the handle over so baby doesn't have to get any sun. Perfect for newborns, with the zip-on fly screen to prevent prying hands squeezing babes cheeks! Nice and dark in there and looks quite… Read more
snuggly. Very happy with the pram. You can see the baby, and he can see you! Easy to steer. Easy to adjust seat position. Nice and flat for newborns. One wheel started squeaking! Hood is a bit far over for a big toddler.
Good – I was given this pram as a hand me down, so I cannot really complain too much. I really like the look/style of the pram and it does have great sun shade coverage. I love that it has a reversible handle so I can keep eye on baby while she is little. The storage basket is reasonable size, however hard to put anything in when lying in flat position.… Read more
Its a pretty stable pram and not too wide and its really easy to fold up & down to put into the car. Looks nice, reversible handle, lays flat for new born or can sit up for toddlers & older babies cannot steer backwards, have to actually turn around 180, the straps that secure baby seem low quality/cheap compared to other prams.
Good – I never settle for second best when it comes to my child, and if i had to do it all over again i would still buy this pram. highly recommened for young mothers/first time mothers. :) Reversible handle to see bubs while walking, feels really smooth to push even on uneven grounds, good sized basket underneath but most of all my baby loves it. she sleeps well whislt going for a walk. Nothing really besides alittle expensive .
Excellent – I like this pram because good looking and easy to walk for shopping. but i didn`t like big wheel when i walk i kept kicking. if you just use for shopping and short walk that`s very good for it. and also very cheep. The reverse handle allows you to watch your baby I don`t like the big wheel.
Terrible – I would not recommend this pram to anybody at all. I found the wheels squeeked so loud that, if my baby was asleep, she would wake up from the noise. We could not push the pram over any ground that wasn't hard and flat. Even bitumen was a challenge, so it is not good for walking. I had to carry the pram over soft ground such as loose sand. I owned… Read more
my pram for only about a month before I began looking for a new one, as all the problems began almost immediately. I did not feel safe putting my baby in this pram as I was almost waiting for it to fall apart. It took up way too much space in the boot, leaving almost no room for luggage. For the price I paid ($330) I expected a much better, more reliable pram, I am thoroughly disappointed with it. I have since bought a Strider, and it did not cost much more than this pram, and is so much better in every way. I regret wasting my money and time on this pram. Handle flips over so baby can either face you, or face away. Comfortable, comes with a suede headrest and shoulder straps. Easy enough to fold.. Wheels squeek very loudly. Doesn't fold up very small, and takes up lots of boot space. This pram is almost impossible to push on anything other than hard, flat ground. Wouldn't lock together the way it should when unfolded. The handle does not have an adjustable height for taller/shorter people.
Bad – we found this pram not very good for rough surfaces even rough road surfaces. I had the handle and wheels replaced and still found the pram handle moved alot. The pram is just 2 years old and had little use. We need to replace the pram as it has worn out. I do like that the covers come off easy to wash. The multiple seat position is good. The… Read more
warranty work was quick but once the pram was 12months old no support from the company. The pram is easy to fold and easy to adjust the seat and reverse the handles. reversible handle, adjustable seat. poorly made
OK – Probably better prams out there for the price but I was still happy with our purchase. Was put off after reading some reviews but don't agree with some things. i find it very easy to put up and down but it is a bit bulky for some smaller boot spaces. Handle can go either way. My baby slept very well in it from birth and seems comfy enough when he… Read more
is sitting up. Nice sized basket Bulky, not as nice looking as some others prams. Harder to access basket when it is lying flat

OK – Little one loves it and parents loved it for three months. It is light and reasonably compact, but if you plan to do lots of walking (about 1-4 hours an day) then do not plan to have this pram much longer then 5 months. we will be retiring it to the grandparents place and buying a new 3 wheeler that will hopefully handle traveling some… Read more
distances. reversible handle is great. Baby seems to find it very comfortable, enjoys both the laying down and the incline position for the seat. Has no trouble sleeping in it.
Small turning cicle and fits through narrow spaces. the wheels!!!
"Independant suspension" is poorly configured so if you reverse the wheels turn in on themselves and wedge up.
after 3 months the wheels went squeeky, we put some WD40 on them and got another months. WD40 again ay 4 months, and now at 5 months they are squeeky again and also a bit wobbly.
we have done a lot of walking and we did hear that people has some issues with the wheels, but to only get 4 months from a pram,we think is preety poor form from steelcraft.
Terrible – I bought this pram 2nd hand, but in good condition as previous owner hadn't used it much at all (I KNOW WHY NOW) I'm glad i didn't pay full price for it, as knowing what i know about this pram now, i wouldn't pay 50c for it in brand new condition. Will never buy Steelcraft products again. LOT'S !.... Reverse handle is average, wheels turn… Read more
every which way, very hard to steer, Only two seating adjustments, flat and semi up, my 6 month son was constantly slumped, a total PAIN in the bum to fold down - I have never actually managed to do it ! Instructions that came with pram are near on useless - folding down pics are way to small, Plastic has cracked and broken near bassinette and my son cut his hand on it, last week after my partner tried to fold it down the plastic split in half where the wheel joins the pram. Took it to an op shop to see if they could use it for anything.. Absolute rubbish.
Terrible – A very poor choice. The wheels do not go where you want it to when in the reverse handle position. Almost had an accident on the train platform when the wheels bucked and did not move where I wanted it to go. Forwarded my complaints to Steelcraft but they were not very sympathetic nor understanding. Will not be buying Steelcraft again. … Read more
Purchased a Maclaren instead. It is fantastic! the reverse handle is good to do a visual check on baby Definitely more cons than pros: very hard to manovere as the wheels are crap. It is also very hard to fold as well as being very heavy. Takes up a lot of space in the boot of our car. The 2 recline position is silly as my daughter seems very uncomfortable in it.
Bad – Would not recommend. Even though it is not expensive compared to others it just doesn't measure up. It puts you in a position where you are buying lots of prams to meet your needs so in the end it costs you a lot. Avoid this pram. Looks nice and the reverse handle is helpful when you ahve a newborn and are nervous and want to look at the baby.… Read more
Wheels starting squeeking after one use. After sales service was poor. They sent it back and it still sqeeked - I bought a used peg pliko to replace this pram and have never wanted to use the enigma again. The enigma is large in the boot and so this puts me off using it as well as I am a big shopper. My toddler is not happy sitting upright in it as the angle is all wrong. He of course does not want to be reclined like a baby so again the pram is poor in design.
Terrible – Do not buy this pram. We would refer to it as "the beast" and later it became known as "the tank," so difficult was it to operate. My father oiled the wheels for me after just 2 weeks as they squeaked annoyingly. We bought a second-hand three-wheeler and despite my hesitation at having a pre-used pram, once I used it, I could never touch the… Read more
Enigma again. Clumsy, difficult, dangerous and completely at odds with what you need in a pram. It should only be purchased by people who walk exclusively in artificial environments (i.e. shopping centres). The Enigma is indeed just that, but the only mystery is how this pram is still being made and sold!!!!!!! The handle can be reversed so that you can view the baby, or have the baby looking out at the world as they become older and more inquisitive. The pram can only handle flat, smooth surfaces. Once you need to walk on grass, a bit of sand, or go up an incline, the pram is useless! The wheels on mine actually buckled in on themselves as I tried to steer over a slight bump in the footpath. It also does not cope with any weight in the carrier beneath and becomes even more cumbersome and immobile with a litre of milk and a small bag of nappies stored below. Getting into shops is almost impossible as it is too heavy to tip back easily. Every small bump or crack in the footpath is exaggerated 20-fold, so that my baby would wake with a startle going over a driveway!!!
Terrible – ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! I thought this pram would have lasted me years but i had it 12 months and couldnt stand it! i have been through six pram since and will ALWAYS stick with a nice stroller like my quinny. expensive but atleast it does the job. Better than i can say bout the enigma. CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Nice looking pram. Beautiful colour. had… Read more
everything i was after....big wheels, reverse handle, lockable wheels, very comfy for baby and lots of accessories. DO NOT GO OVER SLOPED AREAS!!! it is so hard to push when going on walks, especially as i lived in a hilly area when i first had my baby. Its very stiff when using it off road. the wheels buckle. It tips back when you have the nappy bag on and the handle is at the back of the pram.
Good – Overall a good pram, my sister had one as well and it lasted her through 2 kids. It has everything I wanted. If you are thinking of useing it when you go jogging or walking then maybe not the best option. I brought a 3 wheeler for that purpose second hand. Looks great ( nearly every second person I see has one), reversable handle, looks very comfy… Read more
for bub in there, love all the extras that come with it,great wheels, easy to use in shops, great hood, light weight is quite bulky and takes up alot of boot room, difficult to fold down and took awhile to work outsteering can be a bit tricky when not on smooth surfaces
Good – I am a very firm believer in a pram then a stroller but for jogs i wouldnt recommend this as it is hard to manouver. Still a great long lasting product and excellent price. And not to forget the the reversable handle. I love this because it allows face to face interaction with bub gives her a better view when faced the other way. Lots of baskets… Read more
space as well. I thing thats what a mother really needs Very comfy for baby. Can be fully lowered when bubs sleeping. Very bulky and hard to fold. I find it hard to put it back in the car
Terrible – Its bulky and unreliable and there has been many occasions where it has been a hazard for my child. i honestly thought i bought it faulty but got it checked out from britex. I hate this pram and do not reccomend you waste your money buying it. I was always fond of steelcraft but what drug were they on when they made this rubbish! it looks great,… Read more
love the material and the colour. But thats about it. EVERYTHING!! its so difficult to manuevor, the wheels go all over the place and even if you lock it.
OK – We bought the Enigma because my mum had it with my youngest sister and it was fantastic, but I guess they changed it since then. Very hard to move on uneven surfaces, but at the same time we have taken it everywhere and it is still going strong. I have a feeling it will keep going for a while yet. Reverse handle, able to see bub at all times if I… Read more
wanted and able to move her away from the sun and wind when needed. The full recline was great when bub fell asleep while out in the pram. Lots of room in the basket. The wheels started to squeak after about 3 months, but nothing too bad. The Wheels give me the impression that they aren't stable enough. Hard to use on uneven surfaces, eg. uneven footpaths, grass. Uses up too much bootspace and is quite heavy as well.
Bad – Wouldn't recommend. For all the good points the one thing I needed was a pram that was easy to maneouvre and fold down. The Enigma is too difficult on both counts. Comfortable for bub. She fell asleep in this pram very quickly. Reverse handle was good to see bub and keep out of the elements. Handy insect protector cover which was good on trips to… Read more
the park. I liked the colour. Bulky and hard to maneouvre. Very difficult to fold down. This was very frustrating, especially in a shopping centre carpark. Couldn't go walking with it either as my feet hit the back with each stride. My daughter was bounced around too much on rocky roads or grass.
OK – I really like the look of this pram, mainly the fact that it was reverse handle. I wanted to be able to see my newborn. Only weeks after having purchased the pram it began to squeak, a little embarassing I'll admit. It had never been used in the rain and my baby was only small. I fixed it with a bit of cooking oil spray ( hasn't happened again!!)… Read more
Now that my daughter is older and the handle has been reversed into stroller position it is really hard to steer. It is also really hard to fold down now. It takes me a good five minutes just to get the red folding lever to co operate. Rarely locks into place anymore ( Don't particularly know why) The wheels also spontneously go haywire, they either lean to the side or become detatched and thats only at the shopping centre. I'm past thinking I can take this pram out on the footpath or any uneven serface for that matter. Other than the above greivances it has served its purpose well however next baby I will seriously consider another pram possibly a different brand of reverse handle. Reverse Handle, Colour, Shopping Basket.Folds into a compact item, easy for smaller cars. Flimsy wheels/frame. The fact that it started squeaking only weeks after having been purchased
Bad – If you only plan on using your pram for a trip to the supermarket than you might like this one but for anything else i would not recommend this pram! Reverse handle is fantastic. Fly/mozzy net comes in handy as does rain cover. Large storage basket. Extra padding is great for newborns. Unless you are only planning on walking on a vary flat hard… Read more
surface this pram is useless. If there are very few footpaths in your area i would not recommend this pram, it almost topples over if you have to push it on even the slightest angle or rough surface!! The wheels are very flimsy and i had to take mine back for repair after only a month of using it.
