Dreadful service – I had cause to contact Epson Australia as I required a small replacement part for my colour laser printer. Who better to ask than direct from the source, right? Wrong! The best they could offer was to redirect me to an authorised service agent. I have no need for repair, just a very tiny replacement part (Cleaner assy base). I would never… Read more

recommend any of their products having purchased an Aculaser C1100 laser printer - the consumables alone cost a small fortune! If they can not offer replacement parts, there's little hope of keeping it properly maintained without calling in "an authorised agent" - again - at huge expense.

I won't ever purchase an Epson product again and would advise others to proceed with caution or heed the warning.

I bought both the C1100 and the C1100N and they both have the same problems – I needed a colour printer for the home office and then needed a multi-function unit to perform printing/copy/fax/scanning. Both these devices use the same engine and therefore suffer from the same problems. They had vertical lines down the page straight from new when printing colour pages. Epson fixed them under warranty but this doesnt overcome… Read more

the inconvenience. I later had the same problem after changing the toner cartridge. They both have paper jams in picking up paper from the paper trays when printing. The menu and single line LCD display isnt very user friendly at all, and these printers go through quite an amount of toner. We had brochures with blue background and it consumed the Cyan toner so quickly as to make it uneconomical to print and I outsourced it to Officeworks. The multi-function capabilities with colour printing Vertical lines down the page from new. Paper jams because it doesnt pick up page correctly. Uses high amounts of toner.

Bad – not impressed with epson pretending that it costs a certain amount to run when it's way more, pity as the print quality is very good. excellent print quality, very fast photoconductor wears out way less than advertised. add that to the cost of the toners (which you can refill yourself via companies like refilltoner com) it still is an expensieve printer to run

Terrible – We bought Epson C1100 to be used in our Office, but shame, we are totally dissapointed for its cost and specially durability. So to all wanna be Epson consumer, better think million times to buy their products. Don't patronize their name as I did before. Epson must act or find solutions for the dissapointed consumer as soon as possible or better… Read more

loose the faith of still believers of thier products. You (Epson) must returned the money or replace with a new unit which is durable to ease the dissatisfied consumer like me!!! Dont like everything about Epson products at all now!!!!!!! Shame on Epson!!! I dislike all its products!!!!

Good – I like Epson because they work, simple and reliable- they make money on consumerables but they have to make a profit somehow the unit is cheap to buy, ultra reliable, easy to install and looks great! cost of photoconductor is almost the same price as a new unit?? Last time we purchased a new unit instead and sold the old unit (8 months old) on ebay for $10-

Bad – Good till it runs out of consumables. The consumables are far too expensive. All the stuff's made in China, and so they're probably making the stuff for next to nothing. It's a pity. Epson's business model is sell the printer and then hope to God the customer keeps buying the incredibly expensive consumables. Only those working in large… Read more

companies where there is no check on the cost of things will that work. Advice ........ Don't be greedy. Drop the price of your consumables and the customer will keep coming back. Keep the same system you have now and you'll lose all your customer's goodwill. I for one am looking for a better alternative right now ........ Any suggestions ? Quick and good quality printout The toner ran out after 150 pages. The Photoconductor Unit produced horrible black lines on all the output after less than 3,900 pages. The unit's rated at 10, 000 pages. So in 14 months the unit's done 3,900 pages and that's it. The photoconductor unit costs 10,000 Baht to replace. The printer cost 16,900 Baht, so who's going to spend that amount when they can go and buy something new for another 6,000 Baht or maybe slightly less. The staff at the shop (It City) simply supplied a phone number of Epson. Big smiles, but of no practical assistance. They also mentioned I could return the printer for them to look at, but they mentioned they had no fully trained technicians in the shop or available in any way shape or form. I eventually spoke to a technicial on the phone and he was unable to understand the word photoconductor, or Epson C1100. They did not have a call out service. So it looks like I'm going to throw this thing in the bin.

Good – Very happy with it. We had the older C900 model before and that was excellent. We haven't had this one long enough to give our full verdict, but from what we have seen so far, and our experience of the C900 model. We would highly recommend it. Light, easy to set up, good print speed and low noise. Great value too! Large, consumables are a tad on the expensive side. Very expensive network card.
