PROS: MFC combines all required functions in a relatively simple configuration which even my technophobe wife could use.
CONS: 1> Sucks more ink than a thirsty camel. Only resolution was to tape up the ends of the colour ink tanks so that it could not drain the ink during the cleaning cycle. 2> Biggest problem is short lifespan before machine was hit with the fatal Error 41. Not worth fixing. Looks like a pretty common problem. 3> Unable to print in Black if one colour has run out even if want to print in greyscale.
OVERALL: Machine needs to have a much longer life expectancy to justify the costs and there should be much more control over the ink loss to the cleaning cycle. Short life span makes this a white elephant BUT if it doesn't break down AND you don't mind using lots of ink THEN the machine is easy to use.

Pros: nothing

Cons: it cheews the ink up during its daily cleaning cycle, that you can't turn off. I went through a colour catridge per month without printing any colour just on the clean cycle. You can not run the machine without colour ink.

Overall: This is a complete waste of money, the running costs to receive faxes is astronomical. I would not recomend this machine to anyone
