Poor quality internal components mean bad longterm reliability – Bought this screen about 4 years ago. At the time it was reasonably priced. Has internal speakers which I never bothered using. The screen didn't power on a few days ago. Researching this online, it is a common fault as Viewsonic use very cheap internal capacitors for their power supply. When they fail, the screen fails as well. If Viewsonic bothered spending an extra 5 cents per screen, they would probably last a long time. As it is, wouldn't buy another Viewsonic monitor again. Buyer beware.

Good – We are very happy with this monitor which has performed well for us over time. We don't have any great need for technical superiority, just a nice clear screen that is ergonomically sound which this screen definately has provided. Love this monitor, the built in speakers make for a much more streamlined clear space to our desktop and perform adequately for us as far as sound quality is concerned. Tilts nicely for ergonomic setup. Base is quite chunky and an odd shape that interferes with keyboard position and limits placement of the monitor on our desk. Also a few too many nooks to clean and dust in it's shape.

Good – Great monitor with sharp clear vibrant colours. Recommended for normal everyday use if all you do is surf the net and occasionally watch movies and tv shows on your pc. However only consider it if you aren't fussed about HDCP. Looks nice. Sharp quality, great colours. Would be great if it had HDMI. Unfortunately it is not HDCP capable.
