Worst design ever – Who makes something you have to completely disassemble to wash? Surely there was a more practical way of making this? Like zips or buttons? If your baby craps everywhere then you have to completely take the wooden frame apart to wash it. Sure the cot rocks itself and it's portable but still terrible to clean. Especially when you only get 1fabrix… Read more

thing. You wash it then have no cot while it dries.. so have yo come up with an alternative place to put bubs...

Lovely design – We got our Cariboo Gentle Motions bassinet second hand and have really enjoyed using it! It looks much nicer than a lot of other bassinets on the market and our baby loved sleeping in it :) It's handy how you can gently rock baby when unsettled, the only negative was that ours squeaked a little so when our little wriggler moved in the night I… Read more

could hear it. Even with that issue I can't wait to use it in the future for number 2. It packed up so easily to store!

Amazing - best bassinette /cradle ever! – This is a true gem of a find - my baby loves it, I love it, it looks great and it works!! The gentle rocking is perfect, better than another leading brand and the ability to adjust the angle of the base is fabulous having a severe reflux baby. Stylish and simple but just a dream come true for sleep for mum and bub!! Quality , stylish, can raise angle of mattress, folds away, rocking motion just perfect, decent size will last ages

Great but overpriced – I really love this bassinet and my bub loves it too.She has a bit of reflux so I was able to adjust the hanging height so the head part of the bassinet is elevated. The best part that I find invaluable is I was able to rock her back to sleep when she wakes up at night. Good bed height so I can see her without having to get out of bed to check… Read more

on her.

I definitely would recommend it but I would suggest get it second hand. Rocking motion Definitely overpriced.

Good – So glad we decided to get this bassinet, it is worth the extra expense. It is so easy to rock you just need a finger to rock the baby back to sleep when they stir- saving you both sleep. It was especially good for recovering from my c-section we were able to put the baby at the right height for me to pick him up for feeding without strain. With… Read more

the stand it is light enough to take to the living room, or my parents easily, even light enough for me to move soon after surgery.

Very practical to not be able to wash it without disassembly however (the bassinet comes assembled) which is so frustrating for anything related to a baby. This would also concern me buying one 2nd hand. I also don't recommend getting the matching mattress protector, it's not waterproof and twice cost of one that is. I think it would be much less valuable to me without the stand which is sold seperatley, most cots are set to a higher newborn setting, the shortest length is too long for this on our (boori) cot. This makes the advertised feature of easing transition to cot a bit impractical.

It is definatley something I would recommend however, I think it is the best thing we bought for our son, I am very appreciative of it. Invaluable for rocking the baby to sleep. Adjustable height excellent for ceasar recovery. So light and portable, we've used it instead of a portacot when travelling. You can't wash the fabric, it's screwed on. The shortest setting on the straps is too long for a high (newborn) base setting on the cot. Difficult to get straps even other than all up/all down.

Excellent – My sister in law advised us to buy the hanging bassinet and we decided we would buy the stand as well as we wanted bubs in the same room with us initially. It has been one of my favourite baby purchases. We can recline it so when bubs has been a bit refluxy it seems to help a lot. We can also move it around the house during the day. I looked… Read more

at lots of different bassinets and have absolutely no regrets in this purchase. This bassinet is lovely to look at but does a brilliant job as well. I love being able to rock my baby and also the fact that when he is ready to go into his own room he can transition slowly into his cot. It is really well made and can be lowered at one end for babies who suffer from reflux. Nothing really perhaps just the price but I definitely think it is worth it.

Excellent – It is so easy to gently rock bub to sleep and because he could stay in it for so long (the mattress is the size of a standard pillow) we had no problem transferring him in to his cot as he was old enough to self settle. We purchased the wool mattress as we live in darwin, he never got hot on it. I love almost everything about this bassinet. It is… Read more

a beautiful piece of furniture which was my main reason for buying it. the straps are ugly!! You need to unscrew it all to wash it.

Excellent – Love it, would recommend it to anyone. Its greatest features are easy to store, ability to be able to rock and that it can be hung on the frame or in a cot. Just loved this bassinet. It is larger than most bassinets so the baby is in it longer (greater value for money). It is very portable. We use to set it up in our bedroom at night than… Read more

during the day have it in the lounge room.

Very easy to rock for a baby that likes movement. Also loved that you set it up on an angle for babies with reflux (head higher is meant to help reflux).

Alos loved the fact it could be hung on the stand or in the cot. We had no issues in transferring our daughter to her cot because she had been technically sleeping in it (sleeping in bassinet hanging in the cot) for a few months.

Finally love that it is easy to store because it all folds out flat. Dislike it is very hard to wash the frame can not be disembled so I have never worked out how I can wash it.
