Great – I have used loads of breast pumps. I had twin daughters and one had to had heart surgery, and I ended up expressing for about 6 months solid. This pump is great. I find it easy to use. The battery operation is a great option if needed too. It can be noisy, but its not too bad in comparison with other electric pumps. I have tried manual pumps and… Read more

they just didn't work for me.

What i really love about this pump is that there arn't a lot of bits to it. I had a manual pump, and there were so many parts it took me forever to pull it apart to clean, then just as long to figure out how to put it all back together again.

Bottom line : I like this pump, and i would recommend it to anyone.

I have read other reviews saying that its painful. Its not really. As long as you line up your nipple in the pump properly. It has a min to max setting. when first putting it on, i always turn in down to min, and adjust the pump on my breast, then turn it up. If you just whacked the pump on crooked and it was on max...it probably would be painful because it would be pulling your nipple the wrong way.

Good for travel – I got this pump in a hurry about 2 months ago after my old one suddenly died on me. The Mini Electric is reliable, the suction is good and I don't find it uncomfortable at all as I was advised in the store to get a bigger size breast shield from the start. It is fantastically small and very portable so has done well at the office, in hand luggage… Read more

for flights and fits easily in a medium size handbag for days out like weddings etc. The battery operation is very convenient & pretty good, not much noticeable difference from mains for a single pumping but does lose power after 2-3 uses. Accessories/parts are also very easily available. On the downside it's slightly noisy but I've found just about all pumps are so it doesn't bother me, however for me the real problem is the timing/speed is not adjustable (the suction power is though) & I think I'd get a better let down if both the speed & suction were independantly adjustable (as I had with my previous pump) which is why in hindsight I would probably pay the bit extra to get the Swing model if I was buying again now. Small, very portable, easy to use & clean. No adjustable speed, this pump would be excellent if it just had that!!

Excellent – I love this pump! My baby was in special care in the hospital and I had to express & strongly preferred the big Medela unit they used. I was unable to find one for hire & for a while was using an electric pump given to me. It was really inefficient & I got frustrated & went back to making sure I was always around/home to feed baby. Then I found… Read more

the Medela mini pump & it is fantastic!! I don't know where ppl are trying to use this pump, you do not have to sit against a wall to have it plugged in! I sit comfortably in bed...while baby sleeps next to bed. Considering this pump does cost less than others it is fantastic! I can express everyday with ease instead of having to dread sitting there for an hour and getting nothing using other pumps. The suction is really good & strength is adjustable. Love that it comes with a bottle stand to keep it from toppling over while you pack up & get up. Really efficient, easy to use, comfortable, suction mimics baby, easy to clean. A little noisy but I don't have a problem with it & my baby sleeps through it or sometimes even goes to sleep listening to the rhythmic sound!

Good little thing – Great mechine pluged in though it is A little under powered in battery but better than nothing. I found it easy to use and easy to clean. It did take double the amount of time than my one i use for everyday home use one. Nice and compact and easy to transport.

Perfect and easy to carry – Easy to use and nicely fits in my handbag! Have used this for both my kids and it still works. On an average 3-4times a day and it's easy to clean as well! I would definitely recommend this to all mothers who would like to continue to express and breastfeed their bubs!

Love love love – Bought this after hand pumping for my first one. Tried medulla in hospital but found it didn’t suit me and was super expensive. I tried this after reading reviews and seeing it was half the price of the medulla. It truely lives up to its reputation. Love this pump. It’s double pump also so it really works efficiently. Plus I have read that you… Read more

tend to extract more with double pumps than if you did one breast at a time. Really recommend this product

Very loud, okay – I only feed my baby EBM as we have latching issues. I ha a diana dream dual pump electric hospital grade which is amazing but is very heavy and needs power point so bought the mini because it is small and portable. The power point cord frayed within a week. Using batteries it seems to barely work. How ever it connects to my Diana dream so not a total waste

Pretty average – I purchased this second hand from a lady who hadn't had it long. She had to get another unit sent to her after the original unit was spurting milk out through the hole in the side of the motor and now that motor has stopped working for me and the new unit ending spurting milk out for me and now is slowly stopping working so I'm back to the good old manual hand pump! So pretty crap really considering this brand is highly recommended.

Good pump but my manual is faster – I bought this pump second hand in near new condition as I was returning to work and wanted a faster pump. It's slower than my manual Avent pump so I've stopped using it. I didn't find anything wrong with the pump itself (apart from having to buy bigger breast shields) it was just too slow for me.

Loved it – I just got my yellow fever vaccination done and i was not allowed to breastfeed my 8 month old baby till she get the vaccination done in the 9th month. The manual pump which i had of another brand was not of any use at all. This product really helped me to get out of the pain caused by not feeding the baby. It is so easy to extract the milk with it as compared to the one i had. Helped me really well.  Show reply

Was such a great tool to help with breastfeeding – This is very comfortable and easy to use. I used it to express after every feed in the first 6 weeks. It easily expressed a full bottle. Both sides take no time at all to express from, so single pump is plenty. I used it at a wedding once and out and about as bub grew, it was easily portable and discrete. It doesn't skip a beat, easy to store and keep clean. Such a great affordable breast pump.  Show 2 replies

Cheap and does the job – This machine is somewhat comfortable . You can adjust the strength of the sick on the side. I use this 15 minutes each Breast. Very easy to clean and set up. If I were to buy another breast pump I would invest and get a double breast pump to save time pumping

compact and efficient – Super efficient and compact little pump. Comfortable to use. Easy to wash - I just rinsed it out and popped it into our steriliser with the bottles. The only fiddly bit to clean was the little valve that would get lost quite easily! (But also easily replaceable from our local chemist.) I especially liked it's portability with the option of using… Read more

batteries to power it. I didn't find it too loud - I wasn't pumping in the same room as bub/when bub was asleep anyway.

It did the job – I found this ok but ended up selling it. It was ok and did what it needed it but I found it hurt when it suctioned onto the nipple. It was easy to clean and the manual was straightforward so that was handy. I found it very expensive though for what you got. I personally wouldn't use this one again

Great pump but noisy – Super easy to use, clean and store. I used it more with my 2nd child and it was easy to pull out, efficient to pump and pack away. It was just a bit noisy so had to pump in another room at night. Great pump and reasonable. Parts are easy to get too.

Great little pump – This pump saved us, had trouble feeding so used this to help supplement feeds. Also used this pump at work after returning from leave, only issue was the battery option was very weak and not worth using, was also a little noisy other then that a great unit

An OK pump – This pump is okay to use but was a little disappointed to be honest. The pump is extremely noisy, and has to be connected to a power point, if the cord is moved slightly the whole machine stops. The pump also drew milk into the motor making it jam up. In terms of milk collection, yes it does work but it's not great. Collects most milk Very noisy, faulty cord

Compact, quick & easy! – This product was recommended to me by a friend and I too would highly recommend it too! Very compact and has the option of power point or batteries. Collects milk quite quick and very handy to stock pile some milk for my bubs growth spurts. Easy to clean. Is quite noisy but its not like u use it out in public, so was no concern to me. Quick & easy to use! Quite noisy.

Gentle and effective! – I've used this pump since my son was born. First to stockpile some milk in the first weeks and to avoid mastitis. I found the sucking to be very gentle and similar to actual real baby. I went back to work early. I haven't found it useful for work as it is noisy and has to be connected to power. I still use it when I express at home. Easy to… Read more

use. Gentle. Expresses milk fast. Allows easy let down due to its gentle suction It is a bit noisy. Requires PowerPoint. Mine does not take batteries

Noisy and temperamental – So noisy! Cant use it at night in bed as the noise wakes my 2 year old down the other end of the hallway. Also the electric cord is crap! You move slightly and the cord moves with you and depending on the angle the machine completely stops, have to wiggle the cord around until it starts again. Hard to wash as you cant get to the inside of the pump. Wouldn't recommend the mini to anyone Expensive considering the crap quality

Not impressed – Initial thoughts -negative points - painful, had to buy another shield which didn't solve pain issues. Hard plastic shield very uncomfortable; kept getting little minuscule nipple blister which causes blocked ducts; stopped sucking after 6 mth use after warranty expired... Useless . Positives were that the milk sucked out quickly was expressed quickly. Quick to milk Lots of pain, stopped working after warranty expired. Uncomfortable shields

Not a bad one – I haven't used other brands, bought this because was recommended. A bit expensive but was almost the lowest price among other electric pumps. It's small, easy to assemble and clean. Battery work well for me to pump three full meals, then start to lose power. I like the stand that prevents the pump from tipping over to one side. I can pump enough… Read more

for my baby to have when I am away, but it doesn't seem to empty my breast very effectively. I tend to make sure they are emptied by my baby's sucking after pumping.

The other thing I wasn't too happy about was that I needed a different size breast shield. I think they should offer customers a chance to get a free shield in their size, as it almost feels unfair to pay extra only because my breasts aren't the "standard size". Small and works reasonably well, easy to maintain. Had to purchase an extra breast shield

Essential for breast feeding – Struggled with manual for 1st 6 weeks, I love this machine used it daily for following 6 months. Really is must have for breast feeding, so time efficient and comfortable. Spare parts available every where. Battery power works wonderful and compact for travel. Easy to clean and assemble. Would strongly consider upgrade for next baby if can afford. Great value, easy to use.

Small and efficient – I liked being able to use this either battery or mains. It is quite noisy but it is small, easy to use, easy to clean, and works well. I though the pumps with cushioning on the cup would be more comfortable or effective but neither were true - this was my favourite pump of three different brands. Effective. Battery powered.

my manual pump was better than this one – It was a waste of money because my manual pump from another company was much better. Medela refused to refund me. I found it noisy and inefficient. I strongly recommend you do not buy it. I heard other people praising medela so I thought I should buy it but was very disappointed. Hand pump was faster and quiet and half the price.

Great breast pump that gets the job done – This was my savior when I had my babies. I used it quite often and it never let me down, also it was very simple to use. It gave plenty of suction to draw the milk out and I found it quite comfortable to use. It has lasted through 2 of my babies and I gave it to my friend who has used it for 3 babies and will soon use it with her 4th and even… Read more

after that I am sure it will still be reliable to whoever needs it next. Inexpensive, reliable, works really well.

great pump for its price. good for occasional use. a little noisy – this is the first pump i have used. once i got used to the pump i found it comfortable. to get a good letdown i would start on the lowest setting once i letdown i would crank it up to the highest setting this method worked well for me. when using the batteries the suction is very low so i recommend to use the ac adapter when ever possible. its is… Read more

very noisy and not as gentle in comparison to the medela swing (if you can afford the swing it is well worth the money). i bought mine of ebay and i will be reselling them when im finished so in the end it doesnt cost that much. good price for what it does, easy to clean, portable. noisy, not much suction when using batteries.

Great and very compact! – I have found this pump is very efficient at expressing milk and love the convienience of mains or battery power. It is very comfortable (the breast shield comes in 5 different sizes, so it does not assume we are all the same!!) and compact for travelling. I use the pump 2 or 3 times per week when I'm away from my 2 month old. Small, quick, simple to use and adjust for comfort.

OK – Fine for occasional use if you are on a budget but when you need a decent supply it couldnt keep up - I was getting only small amounts as is sucked the tip of my nipple. I paid $140 and I ended up buying the Avent Electric and I'm much happier and with sale price it only cost another $30 than this one did! Cheap - but you get what you pay for.… Read more

Would be fine if you are stay at home mum and dont need much milk expressed. And only worth it if you can find it much less than RRP. Feels cheap when comparing to other brands. Very lightweight cheap plastic feel. Quite painful to express and variable suction setting a crappy little dial which is useless on anything less than the higest setting.

Nothing special – I express quite frequently and purchased this as I needed one urgently as my previous one broke. pump as you cannot adjust the cycles to suit your let down. I also found that the breast shield was uncomfortable. You can use it with batteries which is convenient. Loud, uncomfortable, no cycle speed adjustment

This is so helpfull – I used this this product maybe more than any other mom, since my baby dont like to attached with me since he was 10 days, then I try to express my milk for him, since then I just go for it...as long as he take my breastmikk I dont really care what other people said about it. I pump 6-7 times a day to feed my baby until now (he is almost 4months) and my milk supply is amazing. reable, do the job, very gentle, very simple a bit noise

Excellent – I loved my electric pump to express when i needed to, a hand pump just didnt do it properly for me, think it was because i was low on milk but with this one it was so easy and quick to pump the milk. Would highly reccomend this one to new mums who was to express. Easy to use and much better then a hand one. its noisy, thats all!!!!

OK – If you don't mind the noise and you're very careful with it, its fine. It was a bit of a pain to use it with the cord, much easier to use it with the batteries. It would be nice if they made it rechargeable so that you didn't have to keep replacing the batteries. I switched to the Harmony and found that much better. Efficient, easy to clean,… Read more

the bottles are nice (bpa free) It was sooo noisy! Made me feel self conscious if anyone was around, I didn't want to use it. My toddler played with it and dropped it on the ground, and it immediately broke, the inside parts were cheap.

Terrible – Works for some apparently, not for us at all. I can see why a lot of parents go to formula so early. These companies made their money from us. better if the plastic was softer. We have bought 2 brand ($330 total) in 3 weeks. The other brand came with a manual pump which is better than nothing. Gets the first 60ml at least.
