Perfect – it was my first iPhone the first phones with no keyboard and keys i loved it when i was using it for the fist month and which made me sticking with iPhones since then for like more than 8 yrs which is still functional suprisingly thus, it is truly amazing Show details
Poor customer service & waste of time – pathetic service by apple staff in Castle Hill - Sydney, Australia. Totally useless and unhelpful. first of all they are running a schedule/appointments improperly and i had to wait 45 mins to see the tech guy. There are lot of guys waiting in a queue.. Additionally i had a issue with the cracked screen which is affecting my wifi and 3G internet… Read more
services, however they guys has refused to resolve the issue under warranty and asked me to replace the produce for $350.. I am thinking to change this product and buy Samsung Galaxy.. design functionality, customer service

Not the worst phone ever... but close – I like the range of apps; everything from games to music to education. They do tend to use a lot of internet use so be careful with your plans. As a phone, it's awful. Slow to respond when texting, autocorrect is awful (but can be turned off, then you realise the letters are too close together!) Answering the phone is a chore; Speakerphone… Read more
button hides when answering, not loud enough, only rings for a short amount of time (but I suspect that's a network issue, not the phone).
Internet and email are slow to load and the preloaded google maps are awful to use.
Every time I put the phone in my pocket, the mute button activates which is really annoying because I miss calls and texts.
Really, it's a novelty gadget that hasn't been thought through- a fancy iPod (which is actually the only feature that works properly on it...) Good range of apps. iPod function is good. Settings are easy to find and use. Slow internet, email and responsiveness when typing. Screen cracks easily and is expensive to replace. Battery life is short, even when not using internet. Home button breaks easily, expensive to replace. Heavy, clunky, too big for my little hands.
Good – I was previously a Nokia user for many years and was alway happy with them, until the last one, which let me down quite a few times, so then came the switch to PDA and now the magic iPhone 3G, well done apple. I hope you have ironed out the problem with the iPhone 4G, before I need to update. Love my iPhone 3G, I had used PDA's which were a big… Read more
step up from the average mobile. Then last year I got iPhone, fantastic, so many features, its amazing. I get my emails, weather, twitter, facebook, alarm, hundreds of hours of MY music, hundreds of pic's, currency converter, news headlines, my foxtel guide, star (sky) watch, compass, spirit level, videos, sudoku, quizzes, spell check, dictionary, view home security cameras on the road, maps, share/gold prices, heaps of trivia games, IQ quizzes, an atlas, video, 4 separate photo enhancing apps, GPS, SMS, voice memos, camera, personalized traffic cameras, and many more games for me and my grandies,oh and a FLASH light, etc, etc. Suffice to say there are now three in our household. BRAVO..... The battery life is a little disappointing, with so apps and so much to do you definitely need to have all the recharging equipment, home, car, and office cradle. Also the camera is a little disappointing, although the video and the audio of same, are quite good.
Excellent – By far the best phone I have owned. I couldn't match to my in car Bluetooth so I just use the headphones for calls while driving and I always hear clearly and people can hear me fine too. I use it for all internet and emailing as well as cames and camera/video. You can even put movies onto the iPhone and watch like a little portable DVD player.… Read more
Very happy and even though I say that the battery life is short - I use it all the time so it isn't surprising that it runs out fast. As long as you have your cable with you, plug it into any computer and it will charge. Plus is comes with the usual wall plug.
Easy to sync with computer and also can be used as the usual iPod too. I only have a 16GB but I have heaps of movies, songs, numbers, games etc on mine. The only was I would up date is to a newer modile of the iPhone which I think they are bringing you soon. FANTASTIC for calls, sms, mms, googling and email. Games are fun and easy to use Bluetooth 'Blueant' doesn't seem to work. Battery life short

brilliant for my days at work – it will come in handy and official for me to complete my work programme and to have everthing up to date while i at work and then go home to complete or know what i have used it for, and also have me punctle for the completion of my work to be done and what else to do energy effeciant, waterproof expensive for me to buy
Awesome! Great phone – iPhones are great because they are a phone and ipod in one! I love getting new apps. I love how it is touch screen so you don't spend ages typing a message. It can show you things such as the weather. I would defiantly consider an iPhone to anybody. Easy to use
Don't know what I did without it! – I have never been happier with a mobile phone than I am now... I have owned many over the years, all the same brand, but this time I decided it was time for a change! I am "over 50" and not terribly "savvy" with modern technology but found the apple iphone4 to be perfect for my use, both business and personal. And to add to this, the service and aftersales service I receive from my provider is impeccable. Easy to operate, reliable, great camera
Negative reviews
It work's at least, – I have had my apple phone now for just over a year, it has begun to run slow and lag, I have four app's only 250 contacts no songs or video so i know its not the memory, I love the look of the iPhone 3g and how easy it is to use but am finding it hard to endorse apple when my phones so slow! The look, how easy it is to use! Lagging and slow
Has lost its appeal – First impressions were good. It was a a different phone with lots of apps.. Trouble is with so many apps it is easy to get lost and not find that app you want straight away..even with the new folders. Very fustrating. Apps also seem to move or disappear without knowledge. I could not find the camera app just recently and missed a great photo… Read more
opportunity. Also have followed many of the updates for this phone to point that the bluetooth stopped working with my car. There is no way to roll back the update. Very frustrating and you think that Apple would have sorted this out. The update for multitasking has made my phone less reliable as many apps remain on and the phone just bogs down to the point of not being able to receive or make calls. Can't wait for my contract to expire in September. Will be interested in the new Nokia/Microsoft phones as a replacement. Ease of use. Updates have ruined the phone. Too many apps make difficult to find what you want to use like the camera.
Just the best phone out really – Of course there is the new design available with a thinner iphone, but seriously the 3G version is much more durable and able to withstand an immense amount of external pressures that may crack the screen. I love the apps you can get. My iphone does me justice. It's a great overall phone, does the basics of everything you need. I don't think I… Read more
could live without an iPhone, because it has so many parts to it that I just absolutely enjoy using (such as specific applications designed for entertainment, chatting, etc.) I love the fact that the device itself is digitally converged; meaning it has multiple technologies in the phone. The battery life is absolutley appauling. You might get 8 hours if your lucky. Not trustworthy at all.

Good – The iPhone does everything a normal phone plus more. It takes great, high quality photos and videos. If you dont like the black/white colours the phone comes in, there are a variety of cases available. Countless applications which are useful in your everyday life. These can easily be bought of itunes for a small price. Very easy for the screen to… Read more
crack, its expensive to purchase and send off for repairs. The battery life is poor and you need to charge it once a day, if not more, depending on how often you use it. Some apps use the internet and suck up all your credit.

A good phone – I do like this phone, it has a lot of good qualities about it, the graphics on it are good, the applications you can get it good, having a map and being able to play music and videos on it is great! But the battery life is hopeless, ever since I brought it brand new, I have to charge it every day! You really need to put a cover on it because they… Read more
are easily damaged! Its almost like having a mini computer with you all the time! The battery life is hopeless!
Excellent – The iPhone has it all and more. The phone is so easy to use and the music quality as an iPod is great. There are lots of great apps you can buy from the itunes store that help make life easier, provide info and also educational ones for the kids. There are lots of accessories that you can buy to go with the iPhone. Accessing email and the… Read more
internet is quick and easy and so handy when away from a computer. I'd be lost without my iPhone now. So easy to use, full keyboard, email and internet access, wi-fi, links to itunes store to buy apps, camera, GPS mapping Battery life isn't good enough, screen and back can get scratched easily so I would advice purchasing screen protectors as well as a hard case
Terrible – I was initially excited about getting this phone for free through Vodafone. After a year of use however, I m ready to throw it away, as it is a constant frustration to use. It is a great iPod, and plays games well, but it is an absolutely woeful phone. my advise is to go for a newer model, this version really is just an iPod touch with a… Read more
phone capability stuck on with sticky tape. Touch screen is easy to use.
large number of applications available
txt messages are threaded.
ok screen resolution. Very large
Internet browser is slow and almost useless
Email is very slow and has no presentation options
No video calling
No Bluetooth
No push to talk
No Voice dialing
Phone calls constantly drops out or calls simply fail to connect.
Poor signal gathering, & it takes a long time to re-acquire service
OK – Excellent features, easy to move around and easy on the hands. Improve the speakerphone 10 fold, i'll go back to the iphone!!!!! This really is a great phone, I love most things about it. It has the worst speakerphone I have ever come across ... come on Apple, get your act together. I had to swap my Iphone for a HTC magic because the speakerphone was a necessity for me.
Once you have an iPhone you'll never go back – I am so not a tech head and so not a sheep when it comes to following the herd however when all my friends were raving about their iPhones I was intruiged. After their patience answers confirming yes the iPhone you can do this and that there seemed to be nothing it couldn't do! I had to have one and it has been the single most worthwhile piece… Read more

OK – As a multimedia device, this is the one to get. The apps are great, Mp3, mp4 playback etc are fantastic. If you have kids, forget needing a DS or PSP, as this one device can do it all. However, as a phone it does not excel. Frequent drop outs, blu tooth performance, often laggy and handsfree is not very loud (very little use in a car). If… Read more
you need a phone just to use as a phone, you are better getting something else that is designed to do just that. However if you want an all round device that covers everything, this is the one to get. Apps, multimedia usage, screen size, touchscreen interface, o/s design and layout, easy to use and looks great. Fantastic all round device. Poor battery life, extremely poor blu tooth performance - poor phone
Good – I love this phone. I'm a simple phone user and really only use it for calls, texts, games and photo's. I never use it for the internet. It's easy to use, the battery now lasts forever and the camera takes a great photo. Easy to use, great camera, clear photo's. Initially the battery life but I had another problem with the phone so it was swapped for a new one and the battery is awesome now.
Good – I've only been using my I-Phone for about 2 weeks and it is great! Very easy to use, functions work well, love the calendar & the fact you can sinc to your PC/Laptop. Photo's are great, internet is easy to use & scripted text is the best!! Easy to use Battery life
Good – A really good entertainment device but the communication functions are lacking when compared with other models. The price is fairly high but the range of apps makes it well worth the time and money The apps. They keep me entertained for hours especially when I am travelling. Battery life!

Excellent – Even though the '4' was already out when I got my '3' I absolutley love this phone!!!! I was nervous about getting it at first, not being the most techno savvy girl in the world and having to commit to a 24 month plan, but this phone is now my life line. It's pretty easy to figure out without any kind of guide, however there were couple of things… Read more
I couldn't figure out and had to get a friend who has had the phone for a while to help me out. Don't know how I managed to live without it now, I'd be lost without it. Love it!! Email and Internet access. iPod and videos. Relatively easy to use. Thousands of great free apps. Virtually no user guide, other than online help.
Good – if you considering about life style, great application and cool music player iphone is great choice but you have to be extra careful about it. Terrible – Do not buy this one! Big business selling you stuff thay won't back guarantees....Try and speak to someone who takes responsibility when you need it..ha! Thanks Apple and Telstra for nothing!
Good – Overall I love the iPhone 3G. I have the 16GB one, I don't really use it for movies and music, although you can get ones with larger memory capacity. Unlike some other touch screen phones, the iPhone responds to every touch. It is very relaible in that fact. It's fun installing different apps that do just about everything imaginable. … Read more
Information processor is fast, so is the internet on it. Emailing is reliable and easy to use.
The only thing I could really complain about is the fact that reception can sometimes be a problem and drops out during calls occassionally. Easy to use.. Touch screen never fails to respond.. Fast processor .. Just like a mini computer Reception is not great, calls drop out sometimes.
Good – Excellent phone. Really is everything it's hyped up to be. So easy to use. Absolutely love this phone. All my stuff is in one place, in the palm of my hand. This is the forth phone I have ever had. Previously I had old hand me downs that weren't the best. This is the first smart phone I have used. Love just about everything. use. Don't even need to read instructions - very intuitive design, as are all Apple products. Nice to hold. Slim line design fits in your pocket with ease. Functionality is so simple. Love how it's an iPod as well. Having the internet in the palm of your hand is just so handy for looking up those things you need to know right now. Battery life could be better. Sometimes is a little slow to do what you want it to do, but I guess the newer versions improve on that.
Excellent – I have had mine for two years and still going strong, it was a replacement for my first iPhone which had a dickey mute button and it would not read the sim card properly sometimes, it was replaced for a new one by Apple. Easily the best phone I have had, after having mainly Nokia's. Ease of use, well made, never-ending games and apps Poor Camera, screen freezes sometimes, average battery life, can be slow at times
Good – After having sworn I would never own one, I gave in and I am converted! So easy to use and havent had many software issues with it at all! Where to start!? Excellent – I love love love my iphone. I have only ever used a phone for texting and calling and was sceptical that I would get the most out of a phone like this, but I love it (as do my 2 and 4 year olds for the games and watching the video I take of them). Good – The iPhone 3G makes a great device for doing everything a phone is supposed to do and more. Seemless iPod intergration, and such a huge variety of apps make it a great long term investment. Updates from Apple are released regularily to keep its software competative with its competitors. I realise i have more cons than pros, however my overall feel… Read more

Excellent – I would highly recommend the iPhone for anybody who likes hi-tech sort of gadgets and likes to own them. The iPhone is amazing, but maybe just a litte pricey.
