BabyBjorn Air

Good, but could be better – What I like - I can carry my DD facing forward or inward, front carrying or back. The carrier made of strong materials( fabric, buckles, zip etc.). I can feel that my DD is sitting securely when carrying around in all positions. The shoulder strap for baby makes it even more safe for her plus make me confident that she won’t be falling off. Very… Read more
easy to put my DD in, buckle up and if I want to switch from front carrying to back carrying I can do it quite easy and safe.
What I don’t like - Not very ergonomic wise. I get lower back cramp and pain, as well as my shoulder. The waist belt does not provide good support to the back.
Over all is a good carrier for newborn up to 10 kg or less. Once my baby reached +12 kg, I cannot Carry her in my BabyBjorn anymore. I own three different baby carrier brands, therefore, I switch to the other brand I have got.
The carrier for dummys – Love: so easy to put on and adjust, no fiddly buckles and trailing cords, looks good, the mesh is soft. Needs improvement: needs a sun hood (there isn't one available as an additional purchase either, straps come down quite narrow so will rub against babies head, needs pockets! only wearable to 15kg.
Best Carrier on the Market! – Brilliant product! Baby is very comfortable and loves being in it. Super easy to use and even easier to wash (you can just throw it in the washing machine). Wouldn't even look at another carrier after this. I genuinely look forward to using it. Very high quality product and materials, very highly recommended.
Love this baby carrier – I chose Baby Bjorn Air as I liked the look of the Bjorn baby carries, and the air style would allow me to wear and not heat up much with the additional baby heat, and the additional back support built in. I love wearing this to carry my baby/child. I used it on my first child from birth until she was around one (I think). She was small and… Read more
didn't weigh much so I could use it longer with her. I'm using it on my second child as well now.
I love being able to put the baby face towards me or outwards so they can see. When I put them in facing outwards, the head support piece can be folded down so it's not in the baby's face. My son just sucks on it.
It's easy to use and quick. I keep one part still connected, but leave the other side and top clips open. So I just put him in and then connect and clip him in.
The back support is great. I have found it quick helpful for when I carry my baby. It helps to get my back straight and just help me carry the weight.
I have found that my children find it very comfortable that they just fall asleep. After walking a bit with it, if they're tired they will just sleep. If I need to I can just bounce a bit and that would help them too.
Because of all the sucking and drooling, I do find it hard to wash away the stains in the head support part. As I have the white one, it's a bit yellow there and won't completely go back to white. Good back support, reliable, strong, light, airy Can't seem to complete wash the stain out
still not sure why baby bjorn are N1 – this carrier is ok, but still wrecks your back, no matter how much you adjust it. I only used it till bub was about 3 months, after that, because you can only have it at the front, it is just too heavy and hurts if worn more than 10 min.. if I had my time again, I'd probably get one that goes on the back too. This said, I went for the bjorn… Read more
because the others were soooo big: felt like wearing a tent. maybe I'll strap the next kid in a normal backpack! reputable brand, light design still hurts your back, even though it says it doesn't...
Definitely recommend" – Couldn't live without it! I am using the same carrier for my 3rd baby, and also a friend used it for her two children and it is still doing great! Easy to wash....just put on gentle cycle in washing machine and then it dries in minutes. My son breast feeds in there comfortably. He is now 6 months old and 8.5kg and still sleeps in there and I can carry him for ages. Soooooooo convenient :-)
Baby loves it, can only use it for short stints as makes my back sore – Whilst I do like this product, I find I can only use it for short periods of time as it makes my back sore. It doesn't have a waist support strap like some of the other Baby Bjorn carriers and hence you carry all the weight across your upper back. We are now looking at buying a different model so we can use it for longer. On a positive note, it… Read more
is nice and cool for baby as it is made of a mesh ifabric,t is very lightweight and easy to use, our baby seems to find it very comfortable, you can use it from newborn (3.5kg upwards), and it dries very quickly when you wash it unlike one of my other carriers. Lightweight, dries quickly when washed, cool mesh fabric so baby doesn't get too hot. Makes my back sore after 10-15 minutes of use (even with a newborn).
Baby would live night and day in it if I let him! – When I am asked what baby item I couldn't live without it would be the baby bjorn. It makes doing the grocery shopping, catching the bus, and generally wandering around with bub a breeze. We got the air carrier because of the hot Queensland summers. Haven't hit summer yet but so far so good. Take the time and adjust properly for yourself and… Read more
bub and I didn't get any back pain. If we are lazy and don't fix it to ourselves (my husband and I swap wearing it) then your body aches.
Easy to put on/off and put him in/ out by myself. So simple to get him in and out. Easy to clean. And cool to wear. He falls asleep regularly in it and giggles when he sees me putting it on. Baby is only four months old so curious whether it will be still so comfortable in six months time term. I do wonder whether the baby bjorn air miracle may of been a betttwr long term choice... Although it looks more complicated to adjust by yourself
Can't live without it – I originally bought a Breeze Baby Sling but hated it. Since getting my Bjorn Synergy Carrier I wonder what I was ever thinking with trying something else. The Bjorn Carrier makes outings simple.I was originally concerned that we would get hot wearing this in a Queensland summer but the mesh fabric on the Synergy model is great because it allows… Read more
plenty of circulation around baby and I. The carrier is really easy to use and adjustments are simple. Baby's weight is distributed evenly and there is plenty of back support.
Baby is just as comfortable snuggling in for a snooze or looking about. breathable and easy to use
Good – I should have gotten the syngery! I really, really wish I'd purchased the syngery instead... anyone who is thinking of buying this, I recomend getting the syngery instead! Yes, the syngery is more expensive, but you'll be able to carry bub longer. I had to stop when my daughter was a few months old because my back couldn't handle it. My partner… Read more
on the other hand has no troubles with this carrier... but then, he's in the army. It's light, less bulky then other carriers, easy to get bub in and out. It's great for a hot climate, bub loves facing in and out, loves sleeping in it. Nothing. Except lack of back support. They say it's suitable for bubs up to one, but from around seven months, my smaller then average daughter was a bit squished in there. I liked the trimness though, it was good for her as a newborn. I wish they had more colours.
Can't praise it high enough – I purchased this carrier when my oldest child was 5months and it's been the best baby product we've had. Between a few families it's been used for six children and it's still going strong. We picked this carrier as we live in Queensland and I'm really happy we did. It's been used at weddings, Wiggles concerts, football games, grocery shopping… Read more
and school drop offs and it's never been uncomfortable within regards to the temperature, to having baby there.
One friend wasn't able to use it for a prolonged amount of time while walking, as she found the back support lacking overtime with her baby.
It's also husband/dad user friendly!
I have found the Air carrier to be an excellent product and I would happily recommend it to friends, family & strangers. *excellent temp control *supports baby neck *lightweight, easy to store *qdrying *colour; white isn't a great colour but we've been able to keep it nearly stain free
Excellent – For great back support and light weight material makes it usable in the summer heat! Can be adjusted with the baby in the carrier and on you - this is very handy when getting for getting the adjustment just right! I have used other brands and found this to feel the lightest and most comfortable. It is very durable and will last for generations.… Read more
Light colour means it doesn't absorb heat - forget the darker colours as they over heat bub. Folds down quite compact as the material is net like - fits in the nappy bag! This carrier has great back support that spans from the top of your back all the way down the spine to the lower back. I'm quite small and my baby is getting heavy but I can still carry him in this carrier. My partner also uses it and going between our settings/adjustments is very quick and easy. The material is also very light weight - we use it in the summer and bub doesn't over heat nor does the person carrying him. Bub loves it - puts him to sleep and he appears quite comfy. The straps dangle a little bit - doesn't look so bad if you are tall but for me it looks a tad silly - not a reason not to buy it though.
Good – This is a great carrier i you are after some extre back support, but you have to have it really tight to give the extra support I could have my son in it for 30 minutes when he was 5mths old before it started to hurt. Doesn't get too hot Good back support Have to have it really tight for the back support to work

Know better, choose better.
Excellent – The Babybjorn Air carrier has proven to be a worthwhile purchase for us. It is really useful when going shopping and not wanting to struggle with a pram in busy shops, it also allows you to push a shopping trolley. I also use the carrier around the house when our baby is unsettled and wants to be close, this allows me to get jobs around the… Read more
house done with a settled baby.
It is a really easy carrier to use. It has clips and colour coded slide clips, so that even if you have never used a carrier you could put this on in seconds.
During the Qld summer it still very hot, but that is unavoidable when you have a baby against you. Another carrier would be much warmer. Great looking carrier.
Can carry a baby from newborn.
Easy to put on and off.
Good support and weight distribution on back.
Easy to change size for different users.
Excellent – This was given to us by a friend who absolutely loved and and so do we. It is easy to use and comfy to carry our baby in. I have used other brands when carrying my friends kids but this one I have found it best. It is easy to store and wash. I can't find anything bad to say about this product as a use it sooo often. It's great. This is comfy for… Read more
the carrier and the baby, easy to wash and most importantly easy to get my daughter in and out of even if I'm by myself! Nothing at all it is fgantastic
Good – It's very handy to keep in the pram and car for times when they get fidgety in the pram you can pop your shopping in the pram and carry them in the Bjorn, likewise when I go grocery shopping I often carry her around it the Bjorn when she was too small for the shopping trolley. Overall I have found this to be very handy. Nice lightweight material… Read more
and easily washable. Found it very easy to use and can easily get baby in and out without any issues. I also like the extra little loop straps for when the baby is very young as gives extra support around the legs. Can still be hot to wear after a while, especially on a humid day and when the baby is facing you. Once they turn to face the other way it's allot cooler. I found that it really started to hurt my shoulders and back once my daughter started to get to the 8-9kg mark so could only wear it for short periods. My hubbie has no problems with it though.
Good – I wish I would have bought the version with more back support as the straps sit quite high on my back and I carry a lot of the weight on my upper back and shoulders. This is quite painful after 20mins. My husband loves it and doesn't have the same problem as I do, so I guess I should have tried it out more at the shop. Breathable material for… Read more
cooler baby. Can have baby facing inward or outward. Easy to get on and off. Feels secure. Baby loves it. My shoulders get sore (but my husband's don't).
OK – It is a fantastic well made product it felt secure and bub was always safe.i'm not sure about pricing as i did not pay for it, however i did look at cheap products and felt happy with our decision. i found it easy to wear and put on, it washed up well and dried quickly.it is easy to carry around in a bag , the mesh carry bag also helped. my baby… Read more
loved it and would look about without a peep or fall asleep. it was good to keep him close when he was unsettled it gave me free hands to get some jobs done. i found it made my newborn hot, i have not tried other types so can't compare. if he was facing inwards i would put a towel between my chest and his face to stop the persperation and make it more comfy for bub. could not wear for long as my back would hurt, hubby was fine . hubby struggled putting it on, If bub fell asleep in it i never could get him out without waking him.
OK – It's a really good carrier for infants with great support for their neck and is easy to get them into the carrier although it can be very tricky to get the baby out of the carrier without waking them after you have walked them to sleep. Not very good back support so I would recommend it for occasional use only. The fabric does seem to breathe… Read more
well and despite being pale it does clean well (but get on the tough stains quick). It holds the bub really secure with great neck support for infants. It allows the bub to face forwards or towards you. We found it really great for our boy when he was really little.
The way that the carrier holds the bub upright and gave him a great view of the world around really helped strengthen his neck. We bought it for everyday use and found that there is not enough back support to use it all the time which became particularly noticeable from when he was about 7.5kgs. The max weight of this carrier is only 10kg and my boy is 9kg at 6 months and we expected to get longer out of it.
It is not versatile as it can only carry the bub on your front where some other carriers can carry bubs on your back or hip as well. I found it to be over priced.
I find it a great way to put the bub to sleep but getting him out is a little complicated and would wake him more often than not.
Excellent – We've had this since newborn and it paid for itself in the first couple of weeks! Our little one loved being snuggled into us for long walks, and now at 4 months enjoys facing the world! It seems very comfortable and most importantly secure, with very nifty little sliding clasps that can't come undone. My 6 ft 4 in husband wears it comfortably,… Read more
as do I at 5 ft 3 in (with lactating bust-line!)...even my tiny 5 ft size 6 friend wore it comfortably, so it really caters for all size adults. I also like how even when your baby is facing you with their face tucked in to your chest, there are little gaps in the design that allow for safe breathing. I would recommend this carrier, and glad I purchased it. comfortable for little ones and bigger ones, fantastic safe sliding buckle/latch thingys, light and airy, perfectly adjustable for any size adult to wear and adjusts very easily, very snuggly for newborns, and heaps of fun for older babies. I shouldn't have got white, requires two hands to put it on, can't wear it on hip or back like some other carriers.
Excellent – I bought this carrier for my husband to use when our son was born, and I bought a ring sling for myself. Now, I find myself using the Baby Bjorn Air carrier instead of the ring sling. It is easy to put on myself, and easy to put my son in. It is also easy to adjust the straps to suit either my husband or myself. The weight distribution is good… Read more
and the back support is good too, so I don't feel like I am lugging around a lot of weight on my front. My son is happy to be carried around the shops like this and has fallen asleep in it many times when he was younger (now he just wants to look around at everything!). I have never found myself getting too hot wearing the Baby Bjorn, so the air mesh must be doing its job. I would recommend spending a bit more and getting the Air carrier instead of the original Baby Bjorn. Easy to put on and comfortable to wear
Excellent – I had a summer baby so went for the "air" carrier thinking it would be better in the heat and I'm glad I did. My little girl really loves being in it and most of the time quite quickly falls to sleep. I find it great for popping to the shops etc to save getting the stroller out of the car. I was worried about being able to get her in it by myself… Read more
but it was much easier than I thought and has never caused me any problems. Very light to wear. Material is a very soft mesh so your baby doesn't get hot. Easy to put on and also very easy to put baby in. Baby is well supported and the clips feel very secure. Expensive to purchase.
Excellent – A fantastic investment - we strongly recommend this to all parents - it's easy to get on and off quickly, baby feels secure and snug next to mum/dad. Easy to use, comfortable to wear and baby VERY happy to be snuggled up close to mum and dad - really useful when trying to settle an unhappy bub!
