Excellent – I have just bought one (24 Sept 08). Sensational picture quality. No set up hassles. Went straight from the carton and straight on. Everything set up. Quality of set overall plus the picture is great. Nothing to dislike.

Excellent – Overall i love this tv. My nana has gone from a rubbish old tv to this one and i am glued to it everychance i have. It also makes it more fun to play the wii on and everyone can see it better. Hd is fantastic, it really makes the shows so much more realistic. I feel sorry for the tv presenters though, as you can not get away with a single pimple… Read more

now! i would definatley suggest buying this tv. Good size screen, very good sound. Second day of having the tv, there was a problem but we got a replacement same day. The remote is a little confusing.

Excellent – We loved this TV so much that we purchased another one for our bedroom (we love our TV). The after sales service is great. There was a minor problem, and LG came out and fixed straight away. We have an LG DVD player also so we can use the TV remote to opperate both. The only issue was with the footy picture, but it was still very watchable...… Read more

we'll to me anyway (I'm not interested in it!). Good quality product, at a reasonable price. Great picture, and on screen menu display. Excellent sound. Not good to watch sport like football on, the picture would go slightly blurry at times(apparently all LCD's can do this, as we've now found out. Plasma's are much better), so we've purchased a Samsung Plasma to watch the footy on, and it's much better.

Good – LG 42LC2DR does not allow me to watch a digital broadcast and simultaneously record another. Living in Sydney CBD I have very poor analogue reception. Therefore, recording digital whilst viewing analogue is not an option. I think that the simple want to do what one has been able to do with a VCR and CRT with analogue tuners for years would have… Read more

been something that LG would have uncovered in their product R&D. However I sussed out a work-around... by connecting my old external SDSTB via AV1 input (not Component as it doesn’t support this function) I am able to watch the AV1 source whilst recording another channel and vice versa.

Therefore, if one doesn't use an external STB, one is unable to watch and record different digital broadcasts simultaneously.

LG will more than likely come out with a box that has integrated dual SD/HD tuners in the future? looks good only one hd tuner

Good – This television is great. Picture quality is fantastic. It does heat up though. So best to turn off every 4 hours or so. There was a glitch on our tv when we first bought it. It froze during a TV show one night. But after contacting LG they sent a representative within a few days. Haven't had any problems since. The TV comes with an in built high… Read more

definition tuner, so you won't need a digital set top box. The quality is great. Comes with inbuilt high definition tuner. Had a glitch within first 2 weeks, but LG representative fixed it free of charge.
