Samsung ML-2010

Good – I've had this printer for a few years now and am only just up to my 3rd toner replacement. I am a university student and you could imagine the amount of prints I do per week. Decent speed, great quality for a mono laser of its size. Cheap to run. Never seems to get jammed paper even varying the quality of paper I use in it. Extremely noisy for a mono laser printer. Even after printing, the fan stays on for a few minutes. The plastic which guides the paper when it drops as it outputs broke very easily and now my paper seems to fly off the printer as it prints instead of collecting neatly in a pile.

Terrible – Useless Service department backing up a useless product. We would have been better off throwing the printer in a the bin and buy another brand the day it stopped working. it worked for about 4 weeks stopped printing, had 3 service calls, told we could have a replacement printer. Told it would take 6-8 days.... 28 working days later still no replacemnet. if you need a printer for business get another brand.

Bad – machine is fine for a simple desktop printer for a few pages the first page print is a bit of a wait but ok once started. Noise factor can be an issue. Very annoyed that it didn't come with a cable. then had to go spend $10 on that. toner cartridges are over $100 some places want $120 beware to check out differnt suppliers. Overall a simmple desktop printer if you don't need speed or quiet it will do fine. Otherwise spend a bit more money and get a faster quieter machine.

The first page print can ben really frustrating waiting for it. it is cheap doesn't come with printer cable, comes with toner cartridge half full

Good – I bought this printer over four years ago and I'm still using it - never had any mechanical problems with it. It's one of the best investments I've made for school and work. The only issue is that I have to hold all the pages (except the top one) because the feed sometimes picks up a couple of pages at a time. This isn't a deal breaker for me as the printer is right next to the computer and within easy reach, but it may annoy others.

I'm still on the first toner after four years of occasional use printing out my uni assignments, bank receipts, etc.

Overall, great investment, will buy Samsung again in the future. Compact in size, great value for money, good quality printing, long lasting toner. Noisy when idle, paper feed sometimes picks up more than one page at a time, need to buy separate printer cable to connect to computer.

If you need a printer for frequent high-volume work, this is not the printer for you.

Good – Overall a great option for students who only need black and white laser for personal printing of lecture notes, assignments and so on. Would spend more money if I had a higher budget to run on to have less noise. Very cheap and easy going printer. Great toner saver option. Noise makes me turn it of when not using it.
