Engel SR90F

simple design problems will rob your nerves – I had a Waeco CR1080 for a year, that was a disaster. It was rusting, sucking out the batteries, impossible to fix on sites in it's space, cheap breaking plastic aso, terrible communication at their tech support! At the end I took them to court. I had hope and purchased an Engel ST90F, also 80 liters inside, but unfortunately much larger out site.
Mechanical quality appears to be better, no fancy electronics but also no inside light.
Ampere on 12V are as I would expect. Where the Waeco never used less than 4.5A is the Engel at an average of 3.0A and now at 17 degree outside at 2A.
The only problem I have is its compressor, which is vibrating that strong, that all loose parts on the trays, but also at the fridge itself become quite noisy.
The fridge is professionally installed, standing on its rubber feed, not touching anything around it.
I brought it on warranty (3years) to a service agent, he replaced the whole freezer/compressor part with a new one, but guess what... no change.
I figured out what parts are rattling.
- metal that holds the freezer door closed - I bent it a bit, ok now
- freezer door loose in hinges, use something soft, many door when shut, pushes it in, ok now
- last part is the fridge door itself, it's panel/frame connection.
I can't stand the noise and use to sleep with ear plugs :(
I am an electrician, don't see much of a possible solution, but will challenge another Engel service soon - solid old fashion fridge (not like the Waeco with lots of potential points to fail), good warranty service extreme vibrating/noisy compressor, big on outside, no inside light, freezer door doesn't shut and cold runs out
