It's okay, Ever since the internet took over and emails, messages and whatnot have been in use, postal services are just not the same. It does have fast posting, and the cards aren't beaten up when they reach them, but isn't it easier to just give them a quick text? The only circumstances I would use it is if I'm sending it with a parcel or if I'm sending to an elderly person who completely refuses to get a phone.
No it’s not Australia post it’s actually lazy post. I signed a contract with them to leave parcels at my door from December 2025 to December 2026. I got parcel delivery cards x 2 to pick up at post office. These cards have been sitting in my mail box for days one parcel was a documents from my mother lawyers regarding her will that I needed… Read more
urgently. Lazy drivers. When trying to chase these it has been a bloody nightmare. 3 calls with women who don’t care This is so wrong when I filled out numerous forms last year to leave all my parcels at my door. If I see the driver again today I will give him a piece of my mind. A company that has stuff so many Australians. Not good enough. Get your act and fast.
Australia Post picked up my parcel at 4.00pm in Sydney and it was delivered to me in Melbourne by 1,00pm the next day. All tracking info was updated regulalrly. Excellent Service Show details

Always friendly and polite, these people are awesome delivery persons Show details
Continuously supply me with accurate updates and on time deliveries. Although no company is perfect the way Australia Post strives for it they would have to be close. I couldn’t imagine any supplier wanting to use anyone else for deliveries privately or commercially. After dealing with Team Global Express and their 96% Failure rate to their customers it’s so refreshing to have Australia Post there! Show details
Australia post delivery - packaged box x1 and parcel x - receiver Very friendly Australia post driver, rang doorbell and waited patiently, about 30 seconds (!was washing up in the kitchen at the time). He was polite and courteous - his name was ? Dashan - not sure how to spell it. If an Aus Post rep sees this, I'd love for him to get the positive feedback! Packages arrived in good condition in a decent timeframe Show details
I live in a rural village, so the Postie drives a Van. With a wave & a smile, always gives a little toot. My eParcels & Express Post envelopes arrive exactly when the tracker estimates. If I'm not home, a photo is taken of the safe place my parcel is in and uploaded to the Australia Post App. Ol fashion service with 21st Century technology. Love it. The photo doesn't quite show that the letter box is next to the van door. Show details

it seems australia post in southern tasmania semi regulary send parcels around the greater hobart area after arriving in hobart, and when i enquire about it, they do not answer my question but refer me to contact the sender. -EDIT- after posting this review this is the response i got (see included screenshots) it seems the tasmanian branch of… Read more
australia post are semi regulary working to improve there sorting accuracy, i have not seen any improvement since june 2025.
How inconvenient of the delivery staff who was working to deliver was delivered on top of shoes instead of placed on the doorstep very unprofessional whoever delivered this parcel not I'm going to give them a piece of my mind if I catch them doing this again if I know who is doing this I'm not impressed with how they delivered my package shame on them Show details
Australia Post seems to be going downhill fast, as far as parcel deliveries go anyway. Communication and delivery times used to be great and almost always delivered at the time they specified. Now we get ad hoc communications (sometimes none and the parcel just arrives or never does) along with unfathomable and wasteful delivery journeys. For… Read more
example, I purchased an item from a retailer at BATHURST on Wednesday morning which was to be delivered to me at Mudgee. The parcel was picked up by Auspost later that morning and approved for shipping at 12:50 pm that day.
Next entry was that it had arrived at a SYDNEY sorting facility on the Thursday late afternoon. Next entry it arrived back at BATHURST on the Friday 1:00 am and it's still stuck there.
So Auspost wasted two days and their time and effort shipping the item from Bathurst to Sydney and back to Bathurst again!
If Bathurst had simply put the parcel on the next Mudgee bound van I would have received it Thursday morning.
As it is, because of their crazy shipping zig-zags I'll be lucky to receive it by the next Monday!
This is not the first time this has happened either. I ordered an expensive ceiling fan from a retailer in Brisbane. The delivery journey showed it went from Brisbane to Sydney and back at least FOUR times. Finally it was officially declared lost and the retailer had to ship me a 2nd fan at their cost.
They badly need someone with an ounce of brains to come in and sort out their parcel routing madness and failing messaging service.
Not good enough.
It's my opinion that criminal organisations have infiltrated the Australia Post sorting facilities and transport hubs. It appears that precious metals have been disappearing at an alarming rate in the last 12 months. This has been well documented among coin collectors buying online. Also, bullion has been vanishing via the Australian post delivery… Read more
system. You only have to read reviews from the Perth Mint or forums. Years ago this would never happen, but these days goods that vanish without a trace is common with Australia Post. The Benalla Post Office was approached by myself expressing my concerns about the issue, they had zero interest in the matter. When I asked the lady at the Benella Post Office if postal workers carry mobile phones on them, I was told that's "confidential information". I asked this question because mobile phones can have metal-detecting apps installed on them. A simple wave over a parcel can detect if precious metals have been packed. Since Australia post don't care about theft, and you like to buy the odd piece of jewelry or coin online there is a big chance it will not arrive. That would also apply liquor being delivered. Makes no difference if the parcel has tracking or a signature on delivery. The contents will arrive opened with the goods missing. If you lodge an investigation with Australia Post in regard to lost or stolen goods, don't expect any effort will be made into recovery. So if you have an interest in a life of crime or belong to a criminal entity, send your resumé to Australia Post. They would love to hire you.

Absolutely incompetent people running Australia Post. My order has been all around the country, except where it should have gone. Followed the tracking and incorrectly sorted at 6 different locations. Unbelievable. How incompetent is that I ask? Get your act together Australia Post and employ competent employees. Show details
I am increasingly failed and disappointed by Australia Post deliveries. Today is the 3rd time a delivery has been notified as unable to be delivered. I know they did not try. As on previous occasions, the photo 'proof' is taken from the van on the road! (When the delivery attempt is genuine the photo is taken at the door/intercom). Surely… Read more
customers, including sellers who rely on this service, deserve better. While complaints to Australia Post bring apologies, driver's are still getting away with this behavior.

have contacted Aus Post several times asking them to contact who ever they need to to get these parcels removed from my app. All I get back is "contact the sender " I mean [Content Removed] I don't have access to that information because if I did I would have already done so. They are absolutely useless in helping me solve this issue. Yes I can delete it off my app but with my husband's bad memory he doesn't know if it is his parcel or not. And secondly why should I have to. I may have to do away with the app as it's driving me mad and Aus Post doesn't want to help!!

Despite my previous review complaining about a parcel which had been mailed early March to the UK and still not delivered by May - I now need to retract those comments. efficient and within a few minutes had located my parcel. Apparently, the parcel had reached the UK within 6 days and an attempt to deliver it was unsuccessful as the residents were not at home. The postman attempted another delivery the following day, but once again the residents were not home. In fact they were out of the country. The parcel was then held at a local post office for several weeks. As it was not claimed, it was then sent back to Australia and I believe it is now in a Sydney depot. Apologies to Australia Post for not understanding the process in place when I posted my first review.

Why can't I organise my own courier for the final leg or even pick it up myself ? Just can't believe it. If the seller had organised ANY other courier there would have been no problem. I have previously ordered guitars from China before ( AliExpress ) and had no problem by using other couriers. WHAT A JOKE. Really bitter about this.
