Love it – I love this dishwasher! I regularly rotate between the drawers so one is always empty and one ready for dirty plates. When one half is full, I put it on and can start stacking in the other. There is never the problem of "darn the dishwasher is full" or "I need to put dishes in but I have to unload it first". Had it 6 years and it has been faultless. One con is you have to use powder because the tablets don't fit, but I really don't care.  Show details

Have had it for 10 years and about to update to the newer version! Love it! – I have been reading this website and thought I would add my review for this dishwasher as there seems to be a lot of negativity about them. You either seem to be lucky and get one that doesn't skip a beat (mine) or one that constantly needs reparing. We were giving this by my Mother and Father in Law as a payment for my husband painting… Read more

their house. It was top of the range and very expensive, so we were super lucky we didn't pay for it. We have NEVER had to call a repairman out. The only issue we have had with it is when I don't clean out the filters and to be honest, I only do it about three to four times a year. I have noticed my this model has a recall on and our serial number is listed, so although we haven't had the issue noted, I am going to take F&P up on their offer and upgrade to a newer version for a smaller cost and they organise installation and delivery.

I would recommend this machine to anyone that doesn't like to bend down and likes to have clean dishes all the time. As a family of four, I would hate to have to wait for a full load in a normal dishwasher as I am used to running the breakfast dishes and my kids sippy cups etc. being ready for them to use again with lunch. The drawers are super easy to load and unload. Love being able to run half loads in separate drawers Botton drawer slightly nosier than top one when running.

Great dishwasher couldn't live without it – I have owned two dishdrawers. The first (original model) was left behind when we moved house. The only problem I had with that older model was the seal inside the body, which inflated when machine was turned on to help seal it. I had to have the seal replaced quite often and was quite expensive. The newer model, which I have owned for approx 7… Read more

years, doesn't have that seal. I have had no problems at all. The F&P rep who replaced the seals in previous model told me to always rinse everything before placing in machine and you will never have any problems. Good advice from him. I would definately purchase again, and again. I love not having to bend over to pack and unpack. Not having to bend, delay start, two separate drawers.

Not too good, not too bad. But I wouldn't do it again! – I have had this dishwasher for approx 8 years. And really it has been reliable, only needing servicing once or twice. It does get the things I can put in it clean. The top drawer is great to save bending over. But the drawers are hard to stack and don't seem to fit much in. I am renovating my kitchen and would not consider this model again.… Read more

The two drawers. They really are cool. As a lazy house keeper, I can not unstack the clean dishwasher, and still be able to stack the dirty one. Not having to bend over for the top drawer is great. Really hard to use the space well. I can't just stack things as they get dirty. I have to put in the cups first, then the bowls, the the plates, keeping the big plates away from the big bowls... blah blah blah..... The stands don't fold down, so it is hard to stack saucepans or other large items at all. I usually put in glasses, bowls and plates, and then wash everything else up by hand... almost not worth having a dishwasher at all.

Excellent – I love it and would certainly get it again!!!!! The slide mechanism is firmer and a lot ore stable than the top tray of a conventional dishwasher.!!!!!! Even though we got ours from a seconds warehouse (it was display stock and the bottom drawer needed a new motor, which was covered in the waranty) it has not need fixing or servicing of any type… Read more

since. It is perfect for the two of us and we just use the top drawer at the moment but when we add two children (one is currently 10 weeks old) to the family we will use both drawers. We must use powder and can't put tablets in the dispenser.

Good – Initially purchased and installed then moved house and moved dishwasher. Spent the time to ensure levels were right. One service call in four years. kids load and unload dishes. Overall a good product. More capacity than regular dishwasher Power comes on every time the draw is opened, had some teething servicability problems.

OK – I have had mine for about 8 years and have had more repairs done than all my other appliances combined and always different problems, but (probably stupidly)am still going to buy another one because i love the drawer idea. If another brand made a drawer dishwaher id be first inline to get it. The design is brilliant Never stops breaking down and sometimes water isnt hot enough

Terrible – DON"T even think about geting ant Fisher Paykel product. Had one of their washing machines once and the clothes came out dirtier than when I put them in. My Kleenmaid is still going after 21 years Great for entertaining as you can have 2 drawers going at once-but that's about it 9 service calls in the 7 years I've had it. The bottom draw has had… Read more

about every moving part replaced and the flood F1 code comes on every time I use it. Got it fixed again 2 days ago and it broke down the first time I used it- Can't even get through to Fisher Paykel to report it.

Terrible – 16 Floods, 7 blocked impeller’s, both impeller’s now damaged, 2 sets of door closers, 4 sets of cable supports, 1 controller, 1 heater element. About $1200 to fix. This all occurred in the first 4 years of service. The DD603 replaced a Dishlex that worked reliably for 18 years. I paid $1600 for this unit and got ripped off! I would have been… Read more

better off with the 18 year old Dishlex! I ripped it out and set fire to it – it burnt very well - the best thing it’s ever done! I WILL NEVER BUY A FISHER & PAYKEL EVER AGAIN! Looks great Poorly built, poorly designed - doomed to failure.

Terrible – Would not have one if you gave it to me for free, expensive to buy and a pile of junk, did not do my research before buying unlike this time Looks good Unreliable, constant problems, never worked properly since the first week but as we were 5 hours drive from the nearest town could not get it fixed. After moving to the city got the thing fixed up but still had problems getting it to work
