Good – This is an excellent card for those who do not have high Credit card spending and they can pay the card in full. It is a chip based card and has a low fee of $30 and you can link your flyubuys membership to it. Flybuys in not great for normal rewarding @2 points for $5 but are excellent for the bonus points. You would be paying a lot of interest… Read more

if you are not paying up the card in full.

But with new cards coming up like 1st year free or free for life NAB might need to rethink of what they are giving with this card to the customer. - Very Low Annual fee of $30

- Free linkage to fluybuys

- Redeem flybuys point for cashback - High Interest rate (But this seems to be fine as the fees is very low)

Excellent – i enjoy very much using my nab visa credit card as it gives me great rewards with flybuys and i have been receiving 6 months interest free as i applied for the card online, the interest rate is reasonable compared to some of the other credit cards available on the market. i would choose nab for my credit card, and even to be concidered is their… Read more

mini visa card. ability to link to flybuys, if application is fulfilled only, you have 6 months interest free, good customer service, easy to read statements, VISA for online, phone, authorisations and in store purchases, as well as almost any atm

Good – This is a no frills credit card with good reliable service. It has worked in over 10 countries I have visited over the last fifteen or so years without a hitch. They have never let me down. The card is linked to Fly Buys, a fairly decent frequent flyer program that gives me free vouchers for hotels or for shopping every six or so months. The… Read more

annual fee is waived if you spend over $8000 a year. The only down side is that it has 44 free days only. Overall highly recommended. Comes with a security chip, gives you frequent flyer points for free, free free if you spend a certain amount a year. Great online experience. Only 44 days to pay, high interest rates if you dont pay in full

OK – This is a reasonable credit card. It is well accepted - I have never had a problem with it being accepted. The fraud team at NAB monitor for unusual transactions which is excellent. You are able to earn flybuys points but this does take a while to earn. This is quite a good card if you want a credit card and you pay it off in full every month.… Read more

Otherwise the interest rate is quite high. Interest free days. Able to earn flybuys points. Readily accepted. Easy to pay on internet and phone banking and by bpay. Like all credit cards if not used well they can cost you money. Flybuys points take a while to earn. Annual fee applies.

Bad – If you like to keep all your banking together, are a NAB customer and don't do a lot of spending then the Classic Visa is probably a fine product. If you travel, care about interest rates, or want bang for your buck, look elsewhere. It's readily accepted and is handy to have if you already hold accounts with NAB. The NAB Visa Classic is your… Read more

stock standard Visa card that hasn't caught up with the times. The interest rate is at the high end of bank Visas and there's no desirable reward schemes. Getting a new card when your expiry date is looming is a complete pain - we had one sent to a branch we hadn't used for nearly ten years (despite having our address changed and opened other accounts at our local branch) and getting a replacement sent to us was near impossible. But the worst problem we encountered with this card was their security system - we travel frequently and with our other Visa and Mastercard cards, a new overseas transaction (in a country you haven't previously visited) is quickly responded to via a phone call to your mobile. Not NAB. They shut the card down with no notice and it took a forty minute call at international roaming rates to get them to start the process of removing the block (which took 24 hours). Never again.

Terrible – Had many a trouble with fraudulent purchases being made on my card. Informed them on many occasions they were unauthorised. Some kept reappearing every month and they seemed to be doing nothing about it. Every phone call had to be made to Melbourne, at my expense to speak to people who could solve it, and I'm in Brisbane. They told me they could… Read more

not help me and it dragged on for almost a year and had to get ombudsmen involved to get matter dealt with. never deal with those people again, shut down all my accounts with them etc as they just didn't care about me at all. NAB in general, nothing... There customer service

Terrible – I first was offered the NAB credit card when my husband and myself refinanced our home loan with NAB (WHICH WAS A BIG MISTAKE). We took the offer and chose the lowrate visa. At the time of filling out the paper work our bank manager filled it all out for us and YES we checked everything and signed it. Then there was a mistake the bank amager made… Read more

and the form needed to be filled out again so we signed it and left it to her to complet the rest so it was the exact as the previouse form (THAT WAS SILLY ON OUR PART). Anyway we receive the card and not noticing what we had received, 4 months down the track i notcied in the statement the interest rate was double than the low interest rate. I rang them in an instant (since then the bank maanger had left thge branch). They said they would follow it up find the original documents and call me back. I did not hear from anyone a week later i called again and they said the person in charge would call any way 2 months later down the track (paying interest at my expense) tehy called back an basically said it was not there problem cause the credit card type was not indicated on the application form, and they would not refund any interest AT ALL. Absolutly hate NAB. I wish we did not have out home loan with them, the minute i can get out of there i will and i will close all my accounts with them. NAB HAVE NO IDEA, they care only for there wallets. not the customer. easy to get a credit card or home loan NAB dose not care for there customers. nobody wants to take responsibility for mistakes and i ended up paying for it.

OK – I was excited with this credit card until I read in NAB website “Earn 1 flybuys point for every $5 of purchase". You need to have 2,500 flybuys points in order to redeem $20 Coles gift card. That means the real reward points in only 0.16% of the purchase. In addition, this card gives only max 44 days interest free period. If you are happy… Read more

banking with NAB, I would recommend to get NAB Mini visa rather than NAB Visa Classic. It gives longer interest free period (55 days), charges lower annual fee ($24) and gives 0.5% cash back (up to $10 per month) Can be linked to flybuys card for reward points Max 44 days interest free days (normal standard 55 days). Annual fee $30 starting on the 2nd year. Unattractive reward program

Bad – Great way to earn extra fly-buys points. Pretty standard as fair as credit cards. If you don't pay your card off in full each month you will be charged a high rate of interest on the entire debit balance not just outstanding amount. Linked to fly-buys Interest rate and interest calculation method

OK – The only reason why I joined the NAB credit card is because I was part of the Fly Buys program. Using my credit card on all purchases allows me to accumulate points quickly and easily. I have redeemed my points for cash numerous times. The annual fee is also very low - only around $30. The only problem though is that when your credit card expires,… Read more

you have to arrange to pick up your new card. A little inconvenient when the branch is not near you. Low annual fee & linked to Fly Buys. Renewing card is a hassle - they won't post it out to you.

Good – I have never had any problems with the National Visa Card & even when we had some overseas fraud against our account it was all handled with the utmost professionalism. They constantly kept us informed. I do all my banking online. They have upgraded the security but I so I have never had any online banking problems during the time. I opened the… Read more

account since my husband had a National savings account & we could link to flybuys for points rewards. Now my husband & I both also have savings accounts with National. They have reduced the number of days between the statement arriving & payment being due.

Good – I am no longer with NAB so don't have this card, but would still recommend it - was very impressed with pro-active fraudulent tracking, and had no other grief with it. They are pro-active with catching fraudulent activity - no sure how, they must monitor activity or something - but they actually called me to tell me they thought someone was using… Read more

my card illegally. I confirmed they weren't my transactions and they handled everything from there on (from switching me to a new card number to tracking down the offender) Rate isn't as low as it could be, but then you usually loose a feature or two when they do that so it's not too bad I guess.

Good – Seems credit cards are all pretty much the same. I like the NAB one because I use fly buys reward system. Made easier because all my banking is through NAB. If you pay balance off when you get statment there is no interest charge. Watch out if you are late in payment you will be charged a late payment fee. You are able to use this… Read more

card in the ATM to access you other accounts (cheque/savings). This way you do not need any more than one ATM card / PIN. Able to use Fly Buys. High Interest Rate - Not very good looking as far as cards go.

Good – Overall i think that this credit card would be a perfect choice for someone who does collect flybuys and loves great customer service that comes with this card. There are many pros associated with this credit card. One of these pros is that it can be linked to your flybuys membership at no extra cost. With this benefit many people that collect… Read more

flybuys would be more interested in this wonderful deal with the NAB standard credit card. Another thing that many people love is great customer service and this card has that. The con that i can see with this credit card is that the percent is 17.49 per annum. This is not too bad compared to some other credit card companies but no one likes fees right?

Excellent – If u don't get cash out and only use it as a transaction type account to simply earn FlyBuy's points and pay it out before the end of each month, it's a great deal. Also if your spendings go above $500 in the month u get 2 points per $5 for each $5 above the original $500 and of cousre if u use it at Coles, Officeworks etc, u get twice the… Read more

FlyBuy's points anyway. I like this card. Shame u can't choose a colour or a pretty picture on it though. The greatest PRO's are that u can earn FLYBUYS points for paying the rent, paying the bills and buying things from just about anywhere. FlyBUy's points can now get u a $20 gift card for 2500 points. The way TOO high Interest rate.

OK – Not a bad card, but there are certainly better one's out there. As far as convienience goes we like that it is linked to all our accounts, so when using internet banking you can see all balances. As NAB customers it being linked with all your accounts is handy and timesaving. High interest, no rewards program.

Good – This card is good for what it is. My advice is link your Fly-Buys to it and it and you should benefit from both companies. My wife and I use this card to pay our bills and so far we did not experience any kind of the problems. It is a very good card and the help from the customer support is great. We have also linked our card to the Fly-Buy system… Read more

and we are receiving rewards through this way as well. It is important to note that credit limit is kept below $1000 which will allow you to easier pay off the debts and manage your accounts Interest rate is a bit higher than other interest rates offered by other Credit card providers. But overall we did not have any problems or dislikes with this card. Use it wisely and when you need it...

Good – We use the card like a debit card we load cash on it then spend up big we rarly got into debit . Its good with the fly buy points but. I would not use it just for that as you need a lot of points. Its very conveinent Good card if you don't go in debt to much. No yearly fee hi interest rate

Good – I've had an NAB Mastercard for nearly 10 years now, and it has always been well accepted. The bonus points have proved useful. Good. I've got linked with my Flybuys card, and that has made point gathering doubly effective. I like that I've been able to keep my credit limit to $1000, rather than having to apply for a larger capacity card which… Read more

could lead to accumulated debt. My current one has a three-year lifespan which I like, meaning I don't need to replace it as often. 55 days interest free is a great feature. Nothing in particular.

Good – An ideal card for those who may be short of cash when an item catches one's eye, providing payment is made when due and isn't that the trick to any card?. As a user who pays up front when due the due amount I have no problem with this card I have not had one drama since getting the card some years ago now.

OK – This card is good for what it provides. If Fly Buys is your reward program of choice then I recommend this card to leverage that relationship. Has good internet banking functionality for making BPAY payments. Communication between the NAB and Fly Buys service centres was poor when I had an issue. Shorter time between statement delivery and payment due date than other cards I've tried.

Good – Fine card, never had a problem with it at all. Customer service has been prompt and helpful when I've needed it but most of the time it's uneventful and handy. I love the Flybuys points that seem to appear without effort! Also the new red colour is pretty gorgeous. Nothing really
