Brevi Slex

Survived all 3 kids! – This was the best highchair. It scrubbed up like new after each child and the cushion insert was easy to put through the washing machine and it dried quickly. This was by far the best baby product I purchased, worth every cent. It does state for 6mths plus. This is to be taken seriously as there is no head support. I feed my young babies in their rocker until 6 months of age.
Bad – Would not recommend this chair if baby cannot fully support it's own head (this advice was also given to me by the supplier - after I had purchased and used the chair and couldn't return it). Am currently looking for another chair and doing more research before purchasing one(there were no reviews on the Brevi when I purchased it a few months ago… Read more
as it was quite new on the market). So far a better chair would be the Chicco Polly - actually put my daughter in this chair and it was certainly a better and more confortable seat. Good reviews on it were also quite comforting. Also rated quite well in the Choice magazine test. Great looking chair. Since we are short on space, we thought we'd go for a chair that can be used past the baby years. Difficult to get baby into the seat because the back does not recline and the frame holding the tray table is not adjustable. Baby is also falling over to the sides and arm gets trapped between the tray and back when feeding as she cannot at this stage fully support her own head. We had to adjust the backrest to the back hole just so that there is room to get her into and out of the chair easily without hurting her legs as she tends to bend them up. The harness is too loose (I've tried putting it to the tightest setting but to no avail).
Bad – Feel like taking it back but cant deal with stress- don't have time to look for another model-challenge to find safe model with high weight bearing capacity (its been 1 hour of ownership!) Funky look but primarily weight /load capacity- have 2yo with developmental delay and will need high chair beyong=d the usual 10-11kg age. Heavy, bangs her… Read more
head on back rest (back rest not high enough) Seat cover needs washing and will req scredriver to remove harness to wash
Excellent – This beats the Peg Perego Prima Pappa high chair I had for years--plastic legs broke on its own. Forget the white tray table and vinyl or leatherette fabric seat cushions. Forget the wooden high chairs from Stokke and Svan (you won't be able to keep the wood parts from looking new and they are top heavy if you have a kid that decides to stand up… Read more
on the chair step). A six-month old baby which is the recommended age anyway to start solids because they can support their head up is perfect for the Brevi Slex High Chair. No reclining feature is necessary. A sleepy baby doesn't belong on a high chair--how crazy is that! The Brevi Slex is awesome for feeding the baby at table or counter-height level. So simple to use. Highly recommended! This is the Range Rover of high chairs for it's modern design, functionality and simplicity! Awesome modern high chair--very stable, easy to clean, fun color combination, light blue tray table that doesn't stain as easy, tubular compact legs, adjustable height, and convertible chair from infant to adult. Effective waist and shoulder seat belts which are adjustable. Chair is very comfortable even without the white terry cushion seat. Not enough advertisement of the product in the U.S. Found it in the U.S. at Bergstroms and at Baby Depot for reasonable and comparable $199 price tag to other high chairs.
Excellent – You should not put a bay in a high chair until they can support their own head anyway... and the instructions all say 6months, its just mine bub was ready weeks ago, but I didnt have anything at the time... I dont like the idea of buying something only to put it in storage eventually... this I will never need to store. It will become thier… Read more
homework chair later on too.. I didnt find it at all difficult to put together following the instruction pictures was great. I was highly recommend this chair to everyone I know, along with a bumbo for feeding on the run!! Great Italian design and very smart thinking, and comfortable too. I love the fact that baby will have this chair for a long long time... in fact I will most likely buy another one for our next child... I love the hieght changes... can be used at the table, bench or even while in the lounge. My baby just loves it and he's only 4months old. But has great head control. I do think they could develope a plastic cover for the fabric cushion to avoid constant food spills... but I tend to cover it with terry cloth towels while feeding anyway so no big deal.
Excellent – just an awesome chair, easy to clean and set up, great design, and can be used for many years ahead great design, great for in small places, love it can be used as an adult chair aswell, will save some money down the track just from this one chair, also easy to adjust the hight the seat cover doesnt have an easy wash cover over it so i found the light colour of it has been stained from food spills
Excellent – That is what I was looking for. Will last for years. Not just for a baby then put to storage. And also it was important that the chair needs to look contemporary. For a baby, toddler ang adult! Looks great, also great if you don't have enough space. Stable. Heavy, complicated to put it together.
