Pros: As a stackable switch, I'm no worried using the FSM726S. If I need at least 40 free ports, I'll just stack up two (2) switches and it will still leave me 8 available ports, without the need to look backward on a separate 16-port which is non-Gigabit. The extra's OK for future use.

Cons: Failing on the aSDL router part...

Overall: Good thing that Netgear comes with 5 year warranty, on both parts and service. Also the support for Auto Uplink™ technology, enables Netgear to instantly configure itself to unmanaged switching. Saves plenty of time on tendious network configurations.
